B&B Il Balcone sul Lago was wonderful! The location in Brunate overlooking Lago di Como is beautiful. The owners are wonderful, kind people that made us feel welcomed and comfortable during our stay. They take time to know you and make sure they are taking good care of you. Would absolutely stay there again. A prossima!!!

Such a beautiful place to stay! Yummy Breakfast and coffee in the morning and the host are so accommodating. My husband and I even had an early train back to Milan and they planned out our entire route to make it to the airport in time by using the train. Don’t use a train where we’re from, so we were worried about getting there on time. Also they gave us great recommendations around como and the surrounding towns! We used the fanicular everyday to get to como from the B&B and paid for a week pass (very affordable) then took a bus to the surrounding cities like tremezzo and bellagio. My only advice is to get a car so that you will have more freedom around lake como especially if you go in the summer. We went end of September and it was still rather busy getting a ferry and bus. We will def be booking this b&b again in the future! Thanks for everything!

The room had an amazing view over Como lake. Was very clean and lovely decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped. The breakfast was delicious with home made products. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. Was a pleasure spending the weekend at the property. The property is very easy reachable from the Como Lago train station with the funicular to Brunate (last departure during week is 22:30, during the weekend is 24) and then a small walk. There is also parking space near the house.

Riccardo and Francesca are super friendly and helpful, they really care about their customers. The views from the balcony were simply stunning and unique, day and night. Breakfast was delicious and rich, included fresh fruit, homemade pastry, fresh coffee, etc and was served on the balcony of the kitchen, so we could enjoy the views again. Room had everything we needed, the decorations with painted furniture is really beautiful. there are only three rooms, each with a different topic, so if you’re looking for a quiet and extraordinary place and dont mind taking the furnicolare train up the hill/or drive the super narrow streets with your car, then this is a real hidden gem for you.

before booking consider that access is not easy peasy! If you bring a car, expect narrow streets where only one car fits. If you use public transport expect to use the funicular which costs 3,10€ each way!

The room was quite small, but with the balcony and perfect view.

Very nice view, lake Como is below and you can see Alps up to Monte Rosa! The restaurant is right below, where we had lunch. Brunato and the funicular is 10 minutes walk.

The view and the tranquility! The breakfast, which was so much over the Italian standards! The owner is very helpful and accommodating, we could even work from an extra room, as we were teleworking.

Super friendly, helpful host Francesca who is taking care of you with quick communication before arriving, tips what to do around Como and an amazing breakfast with a lot of different, home made choices from sweet to salty (not the „usual small“ Italian breakfast).
