Very clean with rooftop pool with great views.

No kettle in the room, just a coffee machine, which is great if you’re a coffee person, not that great for tea drinkers. In the bathroom, only one hook for towels. There is a need for few more hooks on the back of the bathroom door for an instance. Hotel located close to busy road, so make sure you take earplugs. Food was lukewarm i.e during breakfast. Hotiday is NOT the name of the hotel, they just act as a booking partner, which was a bit confusing/ the name of the hotel is actually Cesare Augusto. Hotiday should be more clear about this when advertising rooms.

Loved the central location. The hotel is few minutes walk from Tasso square, which is the main square in town. Beautiful little garden at the back. Staff was nice and helpful. We’ve received a voucher for a glass of Prosecco each on arrival, which was a nice touch. They have a lovely roof top bar where you can see beautiful view of Sorento and the sea. Hotel is within close proximity to the train station (5 min walk). Rooms very clean and spacious.

We asked three times for slippers, they finally brought them to us on the second day, but this did not hinder our satisfaction in the least.

Excellent and varied breakfast. The train station and the bus stop are a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The port from which we took a boat to Capri is a 10-minute walk away.

The room was very dated and ugly. It was also a little noisy at night.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. I had a nice balcony overlooking the garden. The staff were lovely and it was easy walking distance to the bus, train, port and restaurants. The breakfast was plentiful. Hotiday is actually a virtual hotel and is situated inside another hotel…Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto.

Nothing not to like

Excellent location to train station and Piazza Tasso. A few minute's walk from the hotel to each... Very safe area. Lovely friendly and helpful staff in every part of the hotel. Special mention to Seby in reception who organised our day trip and also the lovely lady on housekeeping who cleaned our room daily.. Very good shower, plenty of towels comfortable room. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the road. The traffic noise did not disturb us. We had good night's sleep throughout our stay... Loved breakfasts, self service with a great variety of lovely food. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for an enjoyable visit to Sorrento.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was fantastic - the range of choices was very impressive- one of the best buffet breakfasts we have seen / enjoyed.

Nothing, all was great.

All very clean, very big camera, everything new furniture, big bathroom, very nice view from the rooftop where it has the pool. Very close to the train station and bus station to Amalfi coast, which is perfect. Very close also to the center with stores, walking area, port, beaches. We enjoyed a lot this hotel.

We weren’t allowed to bring food to our room from outside of the hotel. And by food I mean a bag of crisps and some cookies to snack on here and there.

Loved the location, cleanliness of the room, Buffet breakfast is great and beds are very comfortable. Max from the reception is amazing, he’s a great help!

Tricky location but not terrible - have to walk a bit and cross very busy road- but manageable.

wifi were not very strong in our room, which could be improved.

The accommodations were great, spacious and well-positioned. A 5 minute walk into town where the bars, restaurants and shops were. Plus it was 5 minute walk to the train station which got us out of Sorrento whenever we needed. The staff were helpful and friendly, which made the stay so pleasant and wonderful for us.

Some prices such as drinks or extras for breakfast were pricy( For example 2 poached eggs cost €10 extra).

We were in a refurbished room . V practical and modern . Needed a few things like a bottle opener and kettle but quickly delivered . We had a room with a balcony . Asked for a room on a high floor but would suggest asking for a garden view. Lovely view from the terrace/ pool . V central .

Can here the people in next rooms having showers etc. Socket for electric hanging off the wall, told reception and not fixed during our stay. No tea coffee facilities in room. Shower holder broken..

Location is great, 2 min walk into main square.. roof top pool and bar.. no umbrellas tho.. secure gated property.
