Had to ask for iron and board. Corners of hard bed frame exposed away from mattress and I cut my leg on it twice - suggest plastic corner covers.

Location is great just beside the bus stop into centro storico. Pool area was fab , clean plenty of sun loungers, lovely and quiet just blissful. Beds extremely comfortable. Shower was hot and powerful . Balcony was nice. Air conditioning system was perfect which for Italy in August is a total lifesaver . If air conditioning hadn’t worked correctly it would have ruined our trip, so very pleased it worked perfectly. Breakfast was phenomenal. Staff are so nice and helpful. When we checked out for a very early flight they had a packed lunch prepared for us to take with us. And they made us an espresso while we waited for our taxi. I’ve never had such lovely treatment. Bar food for lunch was great will definitely come here again

if you don’t have a car- have to walk a bit to the beach, but they provide bicycles for free so it saves the situation. Nevertheless, we had a car and did’t have this issue, not even with the parking ( always had spot near the hotel)

It was nice place with nice balcony view ( got upgraded room) Breakfasts were amazing ( Fruits, jus, coffee, yogurts, different type of eggs and italian bakery etc) Staff was helpful and polite. The pool area is pretty nice- you always can find sunny area around the pool and at the same tome you can always chill in a shadow on the grass. The wi-fi near the pool not working well, but in the hotel or in the room- didn’t have issues at all. Also, they have not that big menu but everything is delicious - especially Lasagna ( price is lower than in the restaurant)

The first night we slept in a room that it was very noisy because of the air-condition station outside and because the windows were not soundproof. The rest of the nights we got a way better room.

The location was perfect. Easily accessible with the car. Bus to go to Limone in front of the hotel: super easy. New Limone on walking distance. Swimming pool with sunbeds was good. Also great that you can order some snacks at noon. A lot of choice for breakfast.

Good hotel in Sirmione, close to the old city, with the added benefit of free bicycle rentals for families. The staff were polite, and the restaurant was also good. Breakfast offered many choices. The family room was comfortable, accommodating up to six people, and equipped with AC. The free basement parking is a real plus. Perfect stay.

There was nothing I can think of to say negatively about this Hotel

Everything about Hotel Porto Azzurro was pretty much perfect, the staff were exceptional, nothing was ever too much for them. Reception were knowledgeable regarding the local area & were always happy to help. Located about a 45 minute leisurely walk from the castle, but if that seems too much, a shuttle bus runs regularly which drops you right outside the hotel 2 Euros each for the journey. Both Andreas & Francesco 2 of the male staff that tend the bar were an absolute joy, they went above & beyond to make sure you enjoyed your stay there...
