Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SwitzerlandYou have a minibar and some drinks in there, but no price list. No bottle opener, no cups, nor glasses. Only one plastic cup in the bathroom. Really small shower, and inside looked very unkept (yellow stains all over it). Broken sink. The pipe broke and during the evening I didn’t use the sink. The next day we had the maintenance guy come and fix it, but it took so long because the hotel did not provide him with the correct parts and he had to go purchase everything. I asked to have the room changed and they said it wasn’t possible. Truly sorry to have experienced such a treatment in a 4 star hotel. I myself work in hospitality, in a 4 star superior hotel and I can definitely say that is not the way to manage a situation.
I did not have breakfast, as I ate outside, but it smelled amazing. The gentleman who checked me in was very helpful.
