So location, the view is incredible but oh good lord you are pretty high up there. I was backpacking and only had public transport and my legs to get me around. I took the ferry to Limone Sul Garda and didn't realize how far the hotel was. (entirely my fault) It was a decent hike. Beautiful though which made it easier but I googled the hotel and followed it. Google likes to play tricks on you and takes you up the steepest hill on (Via Tovo) when on the other side there is a much easier path if you're walking! Second, the walls are extremely thin. I've never had an issue with it but my neighbors were a little inconsiderate and had their tv extremely loud. It was like I was in their room watching the show.

The view from the room was incredible. The breakfast was very nice with an assortments of food! It was too cold when i went to enjoy the pool but the pool looked fantastic and clean!

It was about a 10 -15 minute walk to go into town from the property. (A bit steep coming up) The rooms needed an upgrade and had no ventilation other than fan and air-conditioning. Our room had a shared balcony with another three rooms, so a lack of privacy. Breakfast was adequate but always fresh and will presented.

We stayed at Villa Belvedere for two nights. The views from our room and the shared balcony were stunning. The staff were very helpful and chatty. The breakfast was great too. Garda itself was a short walk away and walking up the hill back to the hotel wasn't a pain, although something to keep in mind if you've got mobility difficulties. Free parking was great too.

The bathrooms are old and in need of upgrade as with the beds the beds sunk in a little when you slept on them showing their springs weren’t what they once would have been.

The staff were the standout at this property- Simone in particular was helpful and accomodating. The food at the restaurant - the lasagne, was divine! Best lasagna we ever had to the extent we went back 2 nights in a row.

Note if you are reserving a room that opens onto a private balcony or a shared terrace. The terrace was totally quiet and we had no problems, but it's worth noting ahead of time.

Friendly and helpful staff, good and varied breakfast, extremely close parking for guests. Limone is a nice town to stay in.
