Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomRoom was a bit soulless and dated
Easy to get to from airport, bus stopped almost outside. We arrived late and left early so it was all that we needed

SloveniaFurniture is a bit dated and the hotel is next to the main road so it’s a bit noisy during the night
Easy access, friendly receptionist, clear information about everything. Gated, secure hotel. Bed is comfortable. If you can’t get the parking at the hotel there are a lot of parking spaces nearby.

ItalyThere was no window in our bathroom, so it was too humid every time we took shower or used hot water for a long time to wash something. I would suggest to put a bigger sink with more space to put the things for everyday use.
Very friendly staff, they give you detailed information. Mr. Tuhin was very kind to help with many things. Great location, about 15 minutes by bus or tram to the main island and about 10 minutes to Mestre station. They have a lovely open common area on terrace and a cute kitchen. They let us use the coffee machine for hot water anytime of the day. Breakfast was better than I expected. Not many options, but worth the price in my opinion and good quality products. We ate there only the second day and regretted for not booking it for the first day. Overall, lovely stay!

TaiwanI only stay for one night so I have no time to discover anything I dislike.
The room and the bathroom is very clean! The location is excellent, just a 2-3 minutes walk from San Marco Sansovino Tram station. And the bus station is within 100 meters from the hotel. Perfect spot if you want to stay in Mestre and travel to Venice.

United KingdomI regretted that I didn't book in Venice. We wouldn't need to take tram every day. We didn't like breakfast in the hotel. It was too simple. We had breakfast in venice from second day.
Hotel was very clean and they changed towels almost every day. Air conditioning was nice.

United KingdomThe only issue I had was that when turning the water hot, its volume would get reduced to just drops, so I had to shower in a more mild temperature. They said they would check on that before the next guest arrives.
Really good hotel. The room was super comfortable and clean, with everything I needed, staff was helpfull and location is excellent, as you can take both the tram and buses to Venice, so you don't have to wait for too long.

RomaniaAlthough it was presented in the pictures, I somehow missed the fact that the sink was in the main room but it obviously wasn't a problem.
The location was excellent, very close to a tram stop that led directly to Venice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would go again.

Hotel Guidi in Mestre is an excellent choice for travelers wanting to explore Venice while staying in a quieter, more relaxed environment. The location is ideal, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Additionally, the tram to Venice is just a short walk away, making it easy to visit the city. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is a great perk for those traveling with their furry companions. The staff was also very helpful with parking arrangements. However, it’s worth noting that the hotel’s parking spaces are limited, so it's advisable to call ahead to reserve a spot. Alternatively, there are several parking options nearby, typically costing around 50 cents per hour, which is quite convenient.

SwedenWashrooms were really small. I am an average build guy despite this my hands were getting bumped with the walls of bathing area.
The location was good. Though it was other side of the Venice, the tram stations was really close, which usually takes 15-20 mins to reach main tourist attractions like Dodge palace and church. Bus stop was like 10mtrs away. Plus the Venice Mestre train station was close as well. The staff was good and cooperative. Cleanliness of the room were good. For Indians, you can find Bombay spice Indian restaurants which was close to this hotel.

United StatesThe parking is a bit messy. It is first come, first serve. Someone decided to park in the middle of the parking lot because there was no available space and blocked us for a while until the staff found out who it was. The AC was off when we arrived, and the room was hotter than being outside. It never really cooled down enough to be nice, just not hot as outside. The staff is only available during a couple of hours in the morning. If you have any issues, you have to call the emergency numbers.
Great location, close to restaurants and public transport. The room was really clean and kept clean during our short stay.

TurkeyThe staff are friendly. They helped us even though we went to the hotel very early. It is an old hotel, but if you have a low budget for accommodation, you can definitely try this hotel. It is very easy to reach both Venice and Mestre central stations (5 minutes from the tram and 1 minute from the bus stop).
