If there is any drawback, it is lack of an elevator. The house begins on the second and third floors (ground level = 1),so there are steps to navigate with luggage to reach the main living area. Once inside, the second and third bedrooms are accessed by another interior flight of stairs, but they are not taxing. The stairway steps are well-designed with wide treads and reasonable riser height. If one packs moderately and is mobile, this should not be a problem. Any minor inconvenience will be well worth the effort.

Excellent location overlooking the picturesque Piazza Sant’Antonino, an easy walk to the center of Sorrento. Exceptionally clean and well-appointed; shows extensive design planning and good taste in decorating. Very comfortable beds; good soundproofing in windows and doors controls noise and allows for restful sleep. Charming rooftop deck. Pierangelo, the owner, is friendly, speaks English very well, and is passionate about providing a satisfactory experience. He lives nearby and responds to questions and addresses any problems promptly. The property and host set the highest standard.

Availability and Rules for Parking Near the Flat Are a Bit Confusing... However, There is A Parking Garage Nearby (5 Minutes by Walking). The Flat is Located Up Two Levels of Stairs (~50 Wide Steps with A Nice Handrail - Not Too Hard).

The location is really good. The host is amazing. He checks on us everyday, made sure we are comfortable. He even helped us with our luggage.

We liked everything.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment of Pierangelo. Overall, it seems to be the best place we have ever booked. The apartment is perfectly located on one of the main squares of Sorrento in front of a small beautiful garden. All expensive furniture is brand new, everything is exceptionally clean and perfectly designed, so overall the place looks like a palace rather that apartment. There is a great number of all possible equipment, coffee machines, dishwasher, huge fridge KitchenAid, everything you may need at the kitchen and even jacuzzi. Since we arrived for meeting a New Year, Pierangelo placed a Christmas Tree with all decorations. Pierangelo was very kind and attentive, as well as very quick in answering any our questions. It is possible to acquire anything necessary in the supermarket located close to the apartment. Thus, we highly recommend this apartment since it is a real gem.

Wow! What a house in the most perfect location! Everything about the property was exceptional. We were greeted on arrival by Piedro, who is so accommodating and last detail has been thought of. The location was perfect, so close to the centre of Sorrento but not noisy. The facilities were excellent- plenty of space, beautifully decorated, everything you could need and more. The hosts were charming, so helpful to us when we were making our plans for day trips/ restaurants; they met us on arrival and explained all the things we needed to know and offered further suggestions on activities; and storing our luggage when we arrived early and before we left.

Absolutely nothing

Wow this house is absolutely amazing and right in the centre of sorrento in piazza Sant'Antonina. With shops, restaurants and the beach clubs round the corner. The hosts Pierangelo and his wife Agnese where really lovely and friendly and the communication with them was brilliant. They were at the house to greet us and show us around and hand over the keys, the house had everything and more for a lovely home from home holiday and would recommend it to everybody.

Fair warning -- the apartment is two stories up with long flights of stairs (no elevator). Hey -- this is old Italia and part of its historical charm. We acclimated quickly. The town starts early and the church bells make sure ! Expect chimes at 7:00am and 8:45am daily.

Superb location with 3 balconies directly overlooking Piazza Sant'Antonina in Old Sorrento. Extremely friendly and outgoing hosts. Eager to show off the ultra-modern renovation of the old family apartment. Immaculate Italian design. Superbly equipped kitchen and bathrooms.(rainfal showers) Tasteful mix of old family pieces and modern furnishings (owners family has been in Sorrento for many generations). Master bedroom very quiet in the third story apartment. 4th story bedrooms very quiet with opening skylight (with integral shade). Everyone raved about the beds. Beautiful top floor furnished terrace with charcoal BBQ and a drying rack for laundry (wash dries quickly in Sorrento sun and breezes) Hosts provided supplies for a light Italian meal including beer, wine, sparkling water, espresso and limoncello! They live just a few minutes away and were readily available by WhatsApp. Views of the piazza constantly beckoned -- we observed two weddings and a funeral during our stay. Even encountered one of the brides as her entourage paraded down the larger nearby piazzas to local congratulations. A lot of restaurants and shopping mere steps away from the apartment. We used the apartment as our base for day trips to Amalfi coast, Pompei, Ercolano and Vesuvius vineyards. Salvatore Amitrano at www.transfertouramalficoast.com gave us superb service. We hired his vans for transfers to and from Naples and two full day tours. First rate.

This apartment was beautifully furnished with all modern amenities. We had everything we needed for our stay. Our hosts were very attentive and friendly throughout. The rooftop terrace was lovely as was the view from the balcony - great for people watching.
