Room was more 3 star than 4 star. Stain on carpet, window broken. Room was tired and not up to the 4 star rating.

Plane delayed so checked in late reception staff very accommodating. Ina lovely position in the old town, beautiful hotel. Breakfast very good and plenty of choice.

The AC noice in my room when you turned the hi-speed fan mode is very annoying.

The electric points in my room were not working so I had to move rooms but they were very helpful although I did sadly loose the spectacular view with the change.

It’s a magnificent old building with a genuine rustic feel inside. Perfect location to walk to many historic sites.

Some small details like missing coffee in the room and missing toilette paper. No staff to help because in the afternoon there was only one person in reception, which would be a little disappointing for this kind of hotel.

Room is big, bathroom is big and breakfast is good. Building in center of marina in Brindisi is very nice and there are rooms with sea view.

That some of the decor is now very dated, but did add to the charm and quirky appearance. The Air conditioning was not able to cool the rooms sufficiently.

The location is wonderful, views out across the harbour from our rooms. The rooms sizes were also spacious. breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The only thing I can fault are the beds - very very hard, old and worn out which is a pity for such a wonderful grand hotel from a bygone eara which is superbly presented otherwise. I think they should make the effort to put in comfortable beds and good bed linen which was also tired and overused

The location was perfect and had a great view of the lovely harbor and across to the war museum, also a delicious breakfast with good quality product on offer.

I didn't think the breakfast was up to the standard of the hotel, I think at this level it should be freshly cooked.

Huge bedroom and bathroom with lovely big walk in shower. Right on the waterfront we woke up to find a super yacht moored just down the quay! Our view was right over the water and a chunk of the town.

This hotel is situated right along the harbour, easy walk to the town. The building and the views are stunning. The interior is gorgeous, bright and authentic Italian. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. My room was spacious and the bed comfortable.

Internet very slow in evening. Room a little small, Bathroom large. Shower was awful - couldn't keep it in place. Breakfast didn't open on time. We showed up at 7am. They opened doors at 7:05, coffee at 7:12, hot eggs at 7:15, hot meat at 7:25.

The desk staff wasn't very friendly but the housekeeping personnel were very, very helpful. The front desk attendees acted as though they would rather be somewhere else.

Power cut for 11 hours surprised they didn’t have own generator, we had shower in dark with cold water. Breakfast scrambled egg always cold and quite a few items never replenished. Also during power cut no lift not great for my wife.

Some staff members were helpful and pleasant. Others seemed to be suffering from depression or unhappiness with their career choice.

The room, though quite dated, was huge and had a beautiful view. The air conditioning seemed only to produce noise, but had no noticeable effect on the temperature. The bathroom was extremely large and quite nice.

A really small point but plastic glasses at breakfast for water and juice isn’t great

Lovely location overlooking the sea. We had a beautiful junior suite on the first floor looking out to sea. Room and bathroom were very large and the bed comfortable. Only an overnight stay but all the staff we met were friendly, helpful and professional.
