No tea/ coffee facilities in room Paper cups in rooms poor choice No water in room on first night Witnessed staff row in breakfast room, very aggressive staff member, totally unacceptable in my opinion. Poor gym.

Stunning views from our room. A lovely walk into Sorrento approx 2 km and there is a courtesy bus if needed

Had a lovely big room, with a seaview! Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Helped organise a day trip for us. Good cot for baby. Tasty breakfast with lots of choice. Good pool area!

Too far from main center- the shuttle was nice but did not start til 0900- unless you took alternate transportation and paid a taxi- you were leaving so late to get anywhere

Parts of the hotel could do with a little modernisation and there wasn’t any tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was a little disappointing. There seems to be some work starting on the rooftop which would be an amazing addition to the entertainment offering as the views from the rooftop is about as good as it gets.

The view from our room was simply spectacular. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The hotel is a little bit out of Sorrento town centre but the free shuttle bus service was great so it wasn't an issue for us. The staff at the reception were fantastic, very friendly and helpful with information and booking excursions for us. we also had a very nice barman who created a cocktail for us that definitely deserves a place on the menu. We would stay here again.

The room was bright and airy with spectacular views. Nice hotel with good facilities including a shuttle bus to Sorrento and a lovely pool. Staff were lovely.

A bit dated but obviously was a grand venue in its day Pool was very nice A bit far away from everything but buses were very handy

Breakfast was very disappointing… Maybe for the elderly UK people it was good enough but to my mind it’s a shame to serve this kind of breakfast in Italy…

Great view from the whole building (and the balconies). Very big, spacious hotel. Good cleaning staff. Nice pool, terrace. Perfect place to chill. Free bus transfer is a good option to get from the hill to the city centre/Sorrento train station/beach etc

Breakfast was awful. Glad I wasn’t full board. Eggs were like soup. Reception staff not great. We came home from a day at Capri and I had injured myself falling downstairs. We asked if we could have some ice up to our room and we were told to go to the Bar… he could see I could hardly walk.

Pool area was lovely. Free bus down to town centre. Staff in restaurant were top class. I injured my foot and they brought me coffee and food to my table. Nothing was a problem

Would have been nice to have a variety store on site for incidentals like sunscreen, bandaid, water, snacks.

The views from our suite were incredible. The room was spacious. Water pressure was fantastic. Breakfast offered an expansive selection to choose from. Pool area was lovely. Room was cleaned daily with no issue. The shuttle was always on time. No complaints. The hotel is in a quieter area with not much flexibility to roam freely and sit at a café in the morning. That said, it wasn't a deal breaker. We enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning!

Hotel is beautiful, however we had two big problems that were pointed out but never fixed. First, our shower was not draining and overflowed onto the bathroom floor - even after a quick 3 minute rinse off. We told front desk but it was never fixed. Second, it was incredibly hot. The a/c in our room either didn’t work or the a/c in general Was terrible. We had someone come up but all he did was check the thermostat and say “it’s working”. We had to sleep without sheets every night and still woke up pouring sweat. Unless the a/c is working, I’d definitely not come back, especially in summer months.

The hotel is beautiful, pool is nice and the shuttle is very convenient. But if I’m coming to a “beach” location, I expect to return to cool accommodations and not wake up in a heat sweat every night.

Breakfast. Although it was varied- the dishes were basic and the taste of most of the dishes was somewhat trivial. However we never went hungry and always found something to eat... The dining room staff were polite and went out of their way to help and assist with serving omelettes and coffee.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens which during our stay were covered with beautiful blooms which definitely added to the external appearance. The building itself is not modern but is very well maintained. The reception staff who were very courteous throughout our stay upgraded us to rooms on the top floor, rooms that were much more decorated and comfortable than the ones we booked. The big bonus was a balcony in each room overlooking the amazing view of Sorrento, Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. We really liked the fact that every evening there was a show with live music in the hotel bar and more than that we loved the hotel's free shuttle service to the center of Sorrento which we used daily. The frequency of the service was very convenient and the shuttles operate until about 23:00 - which allowed us to go out to Sorrento almost every evening comfortably and without fear!
