Tea making facilities in the room would have been nice. Biggest problem was the location opposite a restaurant/bar which, on my first night there, played very loud music until 2:00 in the morning.

Beautiful building, excellent staff, food and drinks really good, nice swimming pool (but I imagine it’s hard to get a sun bed in July and August!). Lovely room with a gorgeous blingy bathroom- super shower once I’d worked out what the three dials did. Air conditioning was ok.

The pool was large, clean and very beautiful but it needs a better set of stairs that would make it easier to get in.

There is no coffee in the room, a lot of little things in the bathroom, or the internet is slower.

I have been a big fan of this hotel, I have been going for years. It has an incredible location and charm but a lot of things from 5 star modern hotels are missing, like coffee in the room, a lot of little things in the bathroom or the internet is slower. But the location and the building is breathtaking. Be sure to rent free bikes. If you don't mind, there aren't many better places on earth.

Size of room was on brink of comfort. Also for me functionality of furniture is more important than its antique.

Really Grand Hotel. Great and luxury building with historic aura and ghost of Federico Fellini. Lots of marble decoration, columns etc. Perfectly trained and professional staff. Close to the beach and relatively far from touristic crowd.

The breakfast was below expectations for a 5 star hotel. You have to pay for extras which a normal 5 star hotel offers (omelettes, pancakes, …) plus here and there there was a lack of attention to detail (such as providing yellowish towels with stains at the beach (90-120 EUR a day for up to 4 sunbeds and an umbrella, so not a bargain).

A marvelous place full of history, which is truly a landmark at the coastline of Rimini. If you like hotels which are more than a collection of modern comfortable rooms, than this is the place to go. We loved to be there.

a hotel with history. that's why the design is far from modern. the room has a dressing room, which is much more convenient than a closet. good choice at breakfast

The level of noise due to party next to the premises that took place over 2 days, very loud disco music! One other disadvantage was the bath tub, very high and slippery to get in and out, can be dangerous for everyone and especially for elderly people.

Breakfast excellent choice of buffet, fresh fruits always, is a bug plus for me. Staff very friendly. Lovely buffet dinners at the terrace. The private beach is easily accessible, just short walk across the street, also the beach restaurant offered a good buffet in a casual setting

The valet was unavailable during check out on my day. So , I went to grab my own car, not a problem as I found it easily. Just a service that was missed after paying the room charges. Again, no big deal, but others might complain.

It was like walking into a palace. Once the front door opened, there were 6 staff members at the reception desk, all smiling and ready to help. Check in process was swift and easy. Loads of useful information flowed from the staff members. The key was given and off we went to the room. Stayed on the 3rd floor, and the room was a good size. Had partial view from my window. Bathroom was a good size and good water pressure. morning breakfast staff was also all smiles and food was appropriate for an European start to the day. Ambiance was a big factor for the meal setting and it did not disappoint. Seating arrangements and table placement was well thought out. Coffee wand water was always available and the staff were running around making sure everyone felt heard and seen. Spa staff was lovely, as we booked the thermal pool for 2 hours and then a massage. Polite and professional. Overall it was a lovely 2 nights there, and will book it again.

No beach club access included in the package and could be added at an extortionate cost of 120 euro per day.

Nice 5 star hotel in a very good location. Excellent breakfast. Quiet well air conditioned room.

A unique upscale hotel with its own small park and private well equipped sandy beach in a couple if minutes walking. While the building is old it has been tastefully redecorated and remodeled. Its bathroom facilities brought to a contemporary standard

Food in the main restaurant was very good but the atmosphere was overly formal and we were refused seats by the window because they were supposedly booked, but all three were still vacant when the restaurant closed which spoke to a lack of awareness and flexibility.

Breakfast buffet was superb and the meal on the patio in the evening was very pleasant, the more limited menu offered was still excellent

The pool needs a refurb. It’s dirty under water. Noisy sound testing for a hotel event one day.

Loved the location. Excellent staff starting with the welcome by Vittorio. Great breakfast which we took outside on the terrace. Room was elegant and simple. Also excellent aperitifs.

Some things could use a little upkeep, like paint touch ups but that didn’t seem to bother me.
