Nothing - everything was fine!

What a lovely hotel! Check in was effortless, the furniture and decor was quirky (eclectic?). We had a room with a sunny, private balcony (good for drying washing!) Comfortable bed, spacious room. We chose to have dinner at the hotel. Great decision! a wide menu, sumptuous meals, dining out on the balcony. Breakfast was also on the balcony - lovely! Wide selection, Staff were extremely attentive. We did not use the pool (not quite warm enough), but the pool area was very appealling! Free parking on site was also a bonus!

Loved the hotel. We stayed for a weeklong minimoon after our wedding in October 2023. We were upgraded to a balcony room and sea view) Room was clean and bed was big and comfortable. The breakfast was great 👍 Staff were so friendly and helpful

The hotel is a little tired in some places e.g. the pool

The location is good being a short walk from the busy sea front. The hotel is a relaxed, comfotable place with nice furniture and decor. The staff were very helpful

Mould in the shower. Pillows were rock hard (suggest a pillow menu giving guests a choice of different types of pillows). The bed side lamps were really an unusual ceramic design, however light was very muted, impossible to see if one wants to read in bed. A more practical bedside lamp would be better. There was no privacy on the balcony, just waist high walls between each guest’s balcony. One evening we wanted to get some fresh air and were accosted by our inebriated neighbour, who would not stop talking. The people on the other side of us had a large poodle who barked at us every time we stepped on to our balcony. We have absolutely no objection to pets staying at the hotel, we just thought the poor dog would have been better behaved if he wasn’t able to see us, had there been a higher wall between balconies.

location, beautiful unusual decor, the pool and the staff were absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing (although it would have been even better if they had changed the menu on a daily basis). Choice of wines was superb.

Although the rooms were comfortable, they definitely needed an update.

The pool area and the reception/restaurant area were fabulous. It was beautifully decorated and was very comfortable with lots of different seating areas.

Asking for help was like asking the. 8 stooges for 4 wks before we emailed asking for a vegan bakery to make a cake , I had callled a ton of places with no luck… upon arrival the waiter desk clerk mgr and chef all offered to make one At end of day they wen down tthe strert. Too a place. Not. On Google labeleld vegan bakery And got donuts not a. Cake then told us where to go to get it .. This. Happened with transportation as well They offered a taxi , 150 Saying there was nothing else, but there’s a. Bus and a train for 5 euro thay takes 20’ins longer than the taxi for 150 We even organizzed their car to take us to my cooking class for my gf taxi showed up 45 mins late And we missed the non refundable class $$$$$ Nobody had correct info and until a girl asked d nobody seemed interested… sad that it fell to a stereotype for work ethic…

it was a shame for us that there were often a lot of children in the pool. I know can't be helped but it gives a very different vibe to what should be a relaxing boutique hotel.

The bathroom needs serious maintenance It's not a 4-star hotel. At Best, a 3 star where they charge you like a 4 star

Breakfast was not the best, lots of options but poor quality of food, like bread was a bit stale, but ofcourse the breakfast is included so you can always go find other breakfasts in the area, it’s not a deal breaker. The hotel is Ofcourse not very modern but beautifully decorated and the pool areas kind of makes up for it.

The pool, location and room was really great. There was a restaurant, pool drinks were reasonably priced.

The hotel is in a great location facing the harbour and a short walk from restaurants. Staff were lovely, our room and bed comfortable, pool and lounging area nice to have and the variety of food available for breakfast was perfect!

My favorite things were the seating and resting areas which had chairs/resting spots for different needs. The pool was also nice. Breakfast was good. They upgraded my room from classic to comfort which was a nice surprise.

pool bar not open - you can order from inside out to the pool though - however a bottle of peroni for €5 was the most expensive we paid in all of puglia and salento.

lovely hotel was pleasantly surprised after reading some reviews but I honestly think this hotel is beautiful - yes the rooms are ‘tired’ and could maybe do with modernising but they are perfectly clean and the aircon system is fantastic it might be slightly old fashioned in the room but this is Italy! the pool area was beautiful and the breakfast was plenty!

The hotel is in a great location and the pool and sun loungers were fantastic to have. Breakfast and dinner were very good and the staff were lovely. It definitely seemed like the best place to stay in Santa Maria de Leuca. Parking on-site was an added bonus!
