Our host, Adelmo, was excellent, providing information, helping us book a restaurant on our first night after arriving late, and even providing some figs for breakfast one morning.. The location is about 10 minutes' drive from La Spezia, in a very quiet spot, just outside a small village, with a small shop and restaurant. The apartment had all the essentials and a good shower.. The shared pool is also a bonus which we used on a couple of occasions. We had one large appointment with 2 bedrooms, a huge living room and kitchen. The second was a studio apartment for our daughter which was small but had all the essential amenities.

A little remote on the mountain 2 places to eat in walking distance but roads are very winding with regular traffic.

Very quiet and peaceful, fantastic panoramic views, nice terrace with large Brolly and table and chairs. Solarium on roof of accommodation and beautiful clean swimming pool with stunning views.

Nothing. We had a parking space, kitchecn facilities and use of terraces to enjoy the spectacular views across La Spezia towards the Carrara mountains. Travellers tip - hire a boat to visit the Cinque Terre as the trains are packed!!!

Gli Ulivi Di Montalbano is a great place to stay for visiting the La Spezia / Cinque Terre area. Adelmo was a fantastic host and his communications were excellent. The swimming pool was a welcome addition as we had a couple of very warm days during our stay.

Everything was okay. Maybe there were too many mosquitoes in the evening. A mosquito repellent device is needed.

The location is very good. The owner is kind and we communicated well with him. There is a fairly large parking area where parking spots are available. It is quite far from the city and a means of transportation is needed (a personal car in our case).

Terrible bed, no cleaning during your stay.only 1 set of towels. Not toiletries or things like that. So make sure you have al that stuff with you.

Nice views from balcony. Close to al the places you want to go to when in this area. Quiet en relaxed location in hills.

The kitchen could use some general condiments and it just felt like it was missing a special touch to make it exceptional.

The location of this place is fantastic, gorgeous scenery, peaceful and serene. I loved sitting at the terrace and listen to the silence, looking over the beautiful landscape which was interrupted only by distant barking. The house was clean and spacious. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our visit as it wasn’t the season yet, kids were a bit bummed. It’s about 10 minutes drive to the train to make a day trip to Cinque Terra which was superb.

Very nice rooms with everything one needs. The staff ist also very kind and helpful. You need a car to get to places, but then there are many nearby that are worth a visit.

Exceptional apartment in an ideal location that exudes peace and cleanliness. We were welcomed by Mr. Aldo who kindly gave us all the necessary guidelines for visiting Cinque Terre and La Spezie. We had a beautiful view of the terrace and enjoyed dining at the same. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We felt relaxed and very satisfied. Mr. Aldo is an exceptional host. We liked everything. Tiny detail: the Internet wasn’t working very well during our stay which wasn’t ideal. But the owner did everything to help us out! :-)

The property is located in the middle of nature - it is really lovely and very quiet. The studios each have their own space so you feel like you are all by yourself even if there are other guests. The pool is really nice and has an amazing view. The studio has everything you could need. The staff is really nice and helpful! They gave us many explanations and recommandations! :-)

The service was beyond expectation - the staff could not have been more helpful and the location and pool were fantastic. Good steak restaurant 1km walk away and another restaurant 1km the other way. Buses available to la Spezia.

The room smelled bad we arrived and no cleaning was done during our 5 night stay also not after asking for some clean towels and trash bags.

I felt like the floors and sheets were not really clean. There was also no detergent to wash the dishes which could easily be provided instead of making the patron travel to the local market considering this is a tough location to get to and from and there is no made service. I would definitely recommend having a car here since the time between busses is long and the window of service is small.
