Nothing to dislike its an old mid 70's style hotel that as an old charm about it. Fully functional.

Great location overlooking lake Como, very good continental breakfast and the restaurant had a good choice of Italian cuisine at reasonable prices owner was very helpful in letting me park outside the reception as I have limited walking ability.

the bathroom was small and don’t very comfortable. The Design of the hotel is old. The price, I think, is a slightly above what the value actually is.

the view was really fantastic, It is possible have a great view of the Como lake from all the rooms.

You maybe need to come by car or cab. Because the location not the best. There’s a bus but they usually overcrowded.

The view was fantastic. Restaurant staff attentive and the food delicious. Owner chatted to us on the way to breakfast asking if we had slept well and was everything ok, nice personal touch a world apart from routine ‘have a nice day approach’, far more like ‘an old friend’

A bit of refreshing for decoration would be needed.

WE couldn t have better view on lac Como from the room balcony. Was amazing . Food in restaurant was simple but really very tasty, good portions. Breakfast as well. Lady who served the breakfast was very friendly and the hotel manager as well. Lot of parking spots, you need good driving skills to get in and out :)

The hotel staff were sweet but only a few of them spoke English well. However they were a bit disorganized, we had to wait an hour for the preparation of our rooms, even though we arrived within the check-in hours. The rooms didn't seem very clean, they weren't dirty or anything, but it felt like the furniture had been through a lot of stuff.

A view beyond amazing; waking up to the great scenery of Lake Como is priceless. The hotel was close to the Como town and had parking spots with a nice garden. The breakfast was by far, one of the most rich ones. The two rooms that we stayed in both had balconies facing the lake and it was a delight to spend time on the balcony.

The breakfast is a buffet, there's plenty of everything, and the homemade cakes are delicious. The restaurant and service are of a very high standard, the chef is wonderful and the portions are huge, and a view of the lake!!!!

It’s charming but a bit outdated. No afternoon sun on the balcony

Big room, fantastic balcony with great lake view, good wifi, nice fridge in then room, very good breakfast and good restaurant. Sufficient private parking Balcony has nice morning sunlight.

The room was small and there were no bidet showers although it is written in the facilities.

Because of steep side of Lake, the car parking is quite difficult to access, especially in a large car. Just be patient and it will be fine.

Location is perfect, on the lake, wonderful view from room and dining room. Family run, for three generations. Food was good. All staff were excellent. Would certainly use again

Some reviews describe the hotel as old fashioned, but that’s all part of the charm. It’s family run and not part of a large, glossy chain. The rooms are relatively small and basic, but big enough and spotlessly clean and ours had a very comfortable bed, also air conditioning, tv, hair dryer…but the terrace where we could sit and take in the beauty of the lake views was quite priceless. The only fly in the ointment is getting back up the steep road from the ferry stop, the walk down is ok, but coming back another matter and there are no taxis. Just give yourselves plenty of time!

Having read reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect, so went with an open mind but I have to say we had a wonderful stay. The location and views are breathtaking! We went with friends and our rooms were next to each other, as requested with the most spectacular view down the lake. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant the first night, which was delicious but huge! We booked for the next evening too, as all we wanted was a beautiful lake view and great food and it was brilliant to get both on site. We found all the staff friendly and helpful and will definitely return.

Hotel that stayed back in the 70's. Not too bad if you ask me, for a couple of night, but the lack of equipment in room could be an issue for a longer stay.

Restaurant took too long in serving food. Appreciate it was fresh 'home cooked' but after a long drive, I personally was too tired to enjoy totally, so left some of both 'starters & mains' and no dessert ordered.

Comfy beds, plenty of hot water in bathroom, stunning location and good food.
