Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceBooking.com said the hotel has interior parking; in fact, no. So you have to find a spot to park your car and it costs you 30€ for one night. I recommend Booking.com to check the information before printing them on their website.
Super nice hotel; rooms are large, breakfast was gorgeous. Staff really nice and helpful.

CanadaThe hotel is located in the block immediately to the east of the main railway station, Porta Nuova, and there is a metro station within Porta Nuova. The hotel is within a 10-15 minute walk of several of the city's museums, including the Egyptian Museum, Palazzo Madama, the Museum of Modern Art, and the museums of the Royal Palace. Within the same walking range are my favorite squares, Piazza San Carlo and Piazza Castello. Breakfast includes all the standard North Italian options. As a lacto-ovo-vegetarian, I was happy with their selection of yogurts and cheeses. I liked their muesli too.

DenmarkWi-Fi didn't work very well in the room. The curtains in the room are a little dusty. Noise from the street due to poor soundproofing and fixtures
The location is perfect, I had an extremely large and spacious room. Good breakfast with many local products

Switzerland- not the best area of town; located next door to the train station. We were told police patrol the area at night. That being said, we wouldn’t stay out late at night and so didn’t have any problems - poor sound insulation of the rooms. The garbage truck would wake us daily around 6:30-7 a.m. In the evenings the people talking in the street could be heard in the bedrooms (we were on the second floor) until things quieted down around midnight or so. - the aircon didn’t work in our rooms. - no parking on site. They recommended a private garage nearby (30€ per day) but as we didn’t have reservations we couldn’t park there. We found a public underground parking nearby that cost about 40€ per day. Very expensive if you stay for a long weekend (4 days) like we did, so keep this in mind if you find a hotel that includes parking.
- We had 2 family rooms for our party of 7. They were two-story rooms with large sofa beds on the ground floor and comfortable king size bed on the upper level. Older hotel and decor but impeccably clean and comfortable. - Very comfortable mattress and pillows. - Friendly staff. - location close walking distance to main tourist attractions (piazza Carignano, piazza San Carlo, the royal palace, Egyptian museum, El Mole, Parc Valentino, etc) - breakfast quality average but plentiful / worthwhile for the cost (7€ pp)

FranceIt is pretty loud from the street. There were too many people at breakfast, obviously more than hotel can serve. So, I didn't have breakfast ultimately.
Good value for money, the hotel is right in the center of Turin, very good location. It is outlooking to the big street, so at night is is loud almost till 2-3am. I was using ear plugs, it was ok.

FranceIt's near a train station, so like in most cities, can feel a bit frisky in the evening. It was very bustling though so I didn't feel unsafe walking back to the hotel after midnight alone.
This was a short one-night solo trip, and I my main requirement was the location (near the station). It's about 30 seconds from the station, so can hardly be closer. I had a single room but it was warm (in December) and cozy. Hotel reception was super efficient and friendly, and the inside is clean and nicely decorated. I'd 100% stay here again if I'm in town needing something near the station. It was a short walk to other nice areas, but also the area near the hotel itself is quite lively with restaurants and pubs nearby. The shower was really good and the bathroom was spotless. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel.

RomaniaEverything was excellent, except one thing: the single layer windows did not insulate well from the busy and noisy Vittorio Emanuele II boulevard outside. An upgrade is needed in this respect - maybe it's already foreseen, and probably this is a non-issue for the back-facing rooms.
The family room was very spacious and clean, furniture was new and air conditioning working as expected during quite hot weather. Very good breakfast with many options, helpful personnel, large bathroom. Good location nearby the main train station (Porta Nuova) and very close to the city center (walking distance, few minutes).
