The breakfast is okay but could be improved. Many restaurants, bars, and other spots are beyond the main square in the opposite direction, so it's often a 20+ minute walk to reach them.

The staff were really nice! The reception was helpful with recommendations, and the breakfast staff were also very friendly. The room is good, and the location is quite convenient—just 10-15 minutes from the main square.

What an amazing hotel. The staff are exceptional. Rooms cleaned daily and spotless. The restaurant staff always excellent service with a smile. And special shout out to Tzianna and her special cocktails and the lovely food she prepared. Facilities lovely and clean and about 15 min walk to the centre. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing to dislike everything was exceptional

Very clean, great location on the main road into Sorrento it’s a 10 minute walk from the shops in the centre everywhere is accessible. Staff are kind the whole way through and even remember your room number and orders so you don’t have to repeat them. 5 star service

Only a minor point - The shower tray wasn’t very effective and water tended to leak across the bathroom floor.

We had a fabulous short stay at Hotel Gardenia. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome from the start. The hotel was small, which we liked and about a 10-15 min walk into the main centre of Sorrento. It was located on a very busy road but the windows in our room were sound-proofed so the traffic didn’t bother us. The rooms were a good size, the beds comfortable and the air-con worked well. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of foods available. Our kids looked forward to it every morning!! The pool area was lovely and whilst it was often busy, we never struggled to find a sun lounger. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

I thought the property was in a good location for exploring Sorrento. I loved the swimming pool and the poolside bar/cafe. I also had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good with great choices.

Emanuella, the lady on reception, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and informative and nothing was too much trouble. She was great. The location is ideal and the hotel is very clean. The pool is lovely and not too busy. The food by the pool is served by an independent provider. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good.

Our only downside was the shower in our room. The water didn't drain quickly enough while showering, frequently threatening to overflow the shower tray.

The property is on a very busy street and the rooms were very small. Not a deal breaker. Still a good deal.

The property was about a 15 minute walk to the city center. The breakfast was exceptional. The hotel restaurant also offered lunch very reasonably priced and was fresh and delicious. The pool was great on summer days and the food and drinks available at the pool were also very reasonably priced. The rooms were small but VERY clean and each room had a large balcony. Our room overlooked the Main Street and it stayed bustling until late into the night.

The room was small, but we coped as we had the balcony. The noise from the road was never-ending, loud, obnoxious, and overwhelming! Even if we'd moved rooms, I don't think it would have improved. However, at night, when we had the doors closed, it was fine.

The staff were FANTASTIC! The room was small but because we had a balcony, that meant we had somewhere to sit and read. Breakfasts were ample and full of choice. The swimming pool, shared with the neighbouring hotel, was a great size, had plenty of loungers, and there was the added bonus of being able to order snacks and cocktails! Naughty, but we were on holiday!

When we arrived we were concerned that the hotel is on a busy road but we weren't disturbed by the noise.

The pool is a good size with a nice bar serving a good range of food and drink. Lots of loungers. The breakfast provided a good selection of food, hot options like bacon & eggs, fruit, pastries, cereal, bread and my son's favourite - pancakes. We are a family of 3 and found the room a good size and loved having a balcony. It was clean and tidy. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

What a great hotel! We were a party of 4, including a one year old. The hotel could not have done enough for us, especially at breakfast when they promptly brought the high chair and made a real fuss of him! Staff on check in were helpful, the rooms were always spotlessly cleaned and towels and bedding were changed half way through. The baby's cot was clean and appropriate for his age. The fridge and AC were great too! We had a room overlooking the pool and the views at night of the Bay of Naples were lovely. We loved the location - a ten minute walk to the centre, and so many good bars and eating spots close by, as well as places to get snacks and drinks! I need to particularly rave about breakfast - the offer was updating each day, with different cheeses, cereals, meats, juices, as well as the staples like sausages and beans. There was something for everyone! It was also really fun to try some of the local cakes and delicacies at breakfast too (the marmalade cake especially was amazing!) The quality of products on offer was great as well. The breakfast staff were very attentive, friendly and cheerful. It really set us up for the day and we missed it when we returned! We had a few drinks at night in the bar where there were delicious canapes available. The woman behind the bar always made a big fuss of the baby and also made excellent drinks! Overall we had a brilliant stay - we would fully recommend it to anyone going to Sorrento, and we have already told friends going to Sorrento later in the year to stay here.

The shower didn’t drain well and the street was super busy. You couldn’t run the shower longer than 15 seconds without overflow. If you opened the doors on the backside of the hotel where we were, it was still very loud from the street.
