Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SloveniaBreakfast was a nightmare. So crawdy we were literally walking on each other not to mention how difficult it was to get some food. The food was very average and basic, quite a disappointment
That it’s close to Gardaland.

United KingdomThe bar wasn't well staffed at night and we waited a long time for coffee and cake despite it being fairly quiet. It also isn't clear how the wrist band payment works - you can only use it in the hotel not in the theme park.
Pool was lovely and so quiet during the day as everyone is at the theme park! Great range of food at breakfast and beautiful rooms. The shuttle bus into town/railway station is also really helpful although timing is a bit vague.

BulgariaThe food is awful. The breakfast is terrible- all the products were with terribly low quality. Most of the vegetables were spoiled. We had dinner once and didn’t come back. There was a lot of noise at afternoon between 2-4 pm when we tried do take a rest with the kids.
The hotel is a kind of heaven for kids. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice location.

CroatiaOur kids loved this hotel because they have good entertainment program and amenities which made them happy. Some of the staff weren’t that friendly like you would expect them to be in a hotel. Breakfast wasn’t as good and without lots of variety as in some other hotels in Europe. Overall, we are glad that we choose this hotel mainly because of our kids but in future we won’t be staying here anymore.

IsraelDidn’t like the conception of meals, no option to book with food so you need to pay every time you want to eat, not cheap, especially for children, cause they don’t eat each time you pay. One more thing - no free water at the pool, in such hot weather, water is a basic need.
Good if you want to visit Gardaland Park, two minutes away on free shuttle bus from the hotel. Good pool. Clean rooms. Polite staff.

BulgariaIf you travel without a car, this hotel is in the middle of nowhere - there are much better options in Peschiera del Garda. If you want fo go there - you need to first take a shuttle bus from hotel to the park and then another one from the park to the railway station. Another thing, if you claim it to be a resort, through some slippers in the room, add used shower caps, etc. You can have dinner at a buffet restaurant from 19 to 21 only. Working time of the pool (9:30-19) also makes you decide: what do you want to do Gardaland or swimming pool, why not open it at 7 and close at least at 20?! There are no stores in the walking distance, if you do not have breakfast - the onluy food you can get at tge pool bar is chips. At the same time, you cannot get a slushy there in the morning. Very contradictory! The receptionists are reluctant to order taxi service if it was not ordered 24 hours in advance, also we had a very bad experience as we could not get a taxi in Sirmione after the dinner, so we decided to call the hotel, but it went to voicemail offering us to send them an email…And the hotel territory looks like a construction site and the so called balconies on the ground floor are behind the construction fence, looks very unpleasant. I would think twice before staying there again.
Definitely any kid will like that hotel - there are a lot of fun statues, “gym” area, machines, swimming pool area and all those kinds of attractions. The room was big enough, we did not have breakfast included - we chose to get it when we wanted - it was an okay selection - not that many healthy options though and on the unhealthy side - very weird for a kids oriented hotel not to have chocolate milk:) Blue lagoon area where the swimming pools are is very clean and the kids definitely enjoy it there.

United KingdomBeds and bedding uncomfortable, not much in the way of evening entertainment for adults or children which is a shame.
Great for children, the swimming hats were not very pleasant and the pool wasn’t very clean at all. It was like a public lido. We left before the horrendous storm, but I can’t imagine there is much to do there if the weather is bad. Great little hotel around the corner that doesn’t lovely food and wine, it also had horses in the paddock. Check that out for sure.

No benefits for entering, except shatel but family that comes with a car don't need it ( but of course must pay extra 7 euro in the park 😡) 2. We slept in a building probably was mented to be a dog friendly visitors but we weren't so burking around 2300 pm or 7 am wasn't our wish to have is our vacation we expected to be in. 4. Cleaners. DenmarkNo discounts for entrance to Gardaland as advertised on Booking.com. Free buss to station os with change at Gardaland. Irregular schedule, and only every half hour between 10.00 and 16.30. We had to take a taxi. Plastic covered mattresses was hot and uncomfortable to sleep on. Poor noise insulation to neighbor room and hallway also made sleep poor. Location is isolated - you need to go by car to get to anything.
Clean and nice room. Good facilities.

United KingdomWe stayed 3 nights and went to the park for only one day. It's a little way out from civilisation so you have to rely on the park shuttle bus and another park-to-station bus. It works well if you time it correctly but if you don't, it can take a while to get to the station /lake. This put us off going outside of the hotel in the evenings so we went large at lunch elsewhere. The shuttle buses during the day are free and continuous so pretty good but Queuing isn't a things so be prepared to muscle your way on. The hotel bar and restaurants are quite a lot more expensive than the eating establishments in peschiera del garda. They're also quite generic, so the furnishings in the restaurants and bars could be from anywhere which is a little off putting when compared to the beautiful locations close by. We didn't eat at the hotel during our stay.
The hotel really was lovely. It was clean and smelt nice. Even the standard room is huge with a large bathroom and comfortable beds. The pool was also very clean clean and there were always sun beds available. The shuttle buses were handy for the park and they're free. If you're visiting the park for a few days, it's perfect.
