Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LithuaniaRooms are a bit small and half board dinner menu has less options comparing to a previous year. You can hear some noise in the first floor rooms as well in the morning.
Super clean, quite cozy hotel. Beds are very comfortable as well. You can find some nice small gifts occasionally in your room which makes you feel like a welcome guest. Ski room has boots heating which was not available a year ago - so nice and very useful improvement.

Czech RepublicThe room was very hot at night, and there was no easy way of controlling the temperature. The exit from the ski storage room is very close to the ski bus stop in one direction, but to reach the bus stop in the other direction (towards the carossello gondola) or the nearest lift (no. 18) you have to walk around the hotel uphill with your skis, which is a little annoying. The drinks with dinner were rather expensive (20 eur for two glasses of wine) and water with dinner was not included with half board (we would have preferred a jug of water on the table rather than a basket of bread!) even though water was provided both at reception and in the room. We were frequently served reheated potatoes (whereas the rest of the food was very tasty). At breakfast the coffee machine made rather substandard coffee (especially for Italy!) and we would have appreciated some more fresh vegetables.
The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is well located for access to all parts of Livigno, with bus stops close by and the nearest ski lift a couple of minutes away. We booked with breakfast and dinner (half board), the breakfast buffet was extensive and we particularly liked the local cheeses, cold meats, and yogurts, as well as the make-your-own-juice corner with fresh fruit. We also appreciated the packed breakfast option to enable an early departure on the last day. At dinner we were served three courses of our choice (from a broad menu) plus an appetiser buffet each day - masses of food, most of it very tasty. We liked the ski lockers with heated boot racks.

BulgariaThe ski wardrobe, but it is definitely not something that would negatively affect your stay :)
The hotel is located right in the middle of Livigno, where on one side you can easily reach the slopes by walking and if you want to go to the other hill, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, warm and bright. Every room has a balcony with a view to The Valley. Excellent daily room service with small gifts and fresh water. Kitchen is amazing since Chef Galli is taking care of your everyday gastronomic experience. Breakfast is just delicious with the great variety of local delicacies, frech juices, fruits, traditional European breakfast, sweets and good Italian espresso. Atmosphere is friendly and cozy. Children are receiving special attention. We woodland like also to thank you Paulino, our every evening host — constantly in a good mood, smiling and ready to fulfill all your whimsies.

SwedenNothing.
Fantastic hotel in a very generous ski resort with a great location; walking distance to the city centre and a few minutes walk to the nearest ski lifts and many restaurants. What makes this hotel exceptional all staff is genuinely friendly, especially Mara made our stay in Livigno memorable. The breakfast was very nice, and I appreciated the handmade coffee in the morning and the fresh orange juice. The spa area was a rejuvenating place after a day on the slopes, and I especially enjoyed the sauna. All in all a great hotel in a lovely city.

RomaniaNothing - we enjoyed every minute there :)
The hotel is very nice and cozy; there were small gifts waiting for us every day in the room after the cleaning was made. Very nice breakfast - but self service due to Covid - so be prepared to bake your eggs in the morning. Very nice restaurant, we ended up eating there 2 or 3 times and really enjoyed the food. Also, there are lots of restaurants near by. The hotel is very close to the Bus stations (bus is free, there are 5 lines and you can get to all ski lifts). They have a ski locker in the basement from where you can get out at the bus station. The wellness area looks good, but you have to make an appointment during Covid. Ladies from the reception were very kind and answered to all our questions :)

The essence of classic Italian mountain hotel and restaurant. Cozy, warm design of the room in a local wooden style that is maybe not astonishing with its beauty but durable, functional, well maintained. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom as well as all the public spaces of the hotel. Our room was on the entry-level close to the sliding door and main corridor, so during the rush hours we could hear the noise but it was quite quiet at night so not a big ado as almost all the day we've been outside. Big accessible parking, ski room are worth mentioning. Breakfast is abundant in Italian categories, with the corners, where you can prepare your eggs the way you like and vegetable/fruit juice. The restaurant deserves a separate description as it is a real gem of this place. Great staff, delicious menu, especially the variety of steaks and Italian regional dishes. Be sure to book the table in advance as in the evenings it is almost always fully booked.

PolandReally clean, warm and cozy hotel. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Great breakfasts with a great variety of food. Close to bus stops, it takes only 15 min to get to both mountains to alpine ski. It's super close to cross-country skiing track. The hotel also provides comfy lockers for skis and snowboards. I will gladly come back to this wonderful place!

RomaniaI could not say “don’t like” but the breakfast was crowded and the “concept” of doing your own omlette is not appropiate in crowded places. Also, an advice for the staff: not comfortable at all to see in the lobby the tourists (from Lithuania) barefoot and wearing flip flops. This is not at all a winter ski hotel lobby atmosphere to have your drink at the bar in the afternoon. They are not in their living room! Also, please mind the booking conversation you have over email. It happened to one guy from our group to NOT receive what he agreed by email with your staff. Lot of frustration here. Otherwise, I will come back and I thank you!
