Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room is beautiful, the location is perfect to visit Vatican City, it is very close to the tram station. The apartment was very clean, and very well organized. I really loved the detailing Chiara has put into the room, with organic colors on the walls, feels so fresh and full of positive vibes. Chiara is a lovely host, she explained us everything so patiently and gave us such great recommendations for travel and food. She made sure everything was in perfect condition and she was very responsive. I was only there for 2 nights but would love to visit again and stay longer. Thanks Chiara for being a lovely host.

Location was perfect for us! Very nice neighborhood with many tasty food options as well as shopping and site-seeing. Breakfast was exactly what we needed for a day of touring. Host was extremely helpful with introducing us to the rooms, breakfast area, giving the best restaurant and gelato recommendations, providing us with a map and events happening we may be interested in. We thoroughly enjoyed many of her recommendations! Also, the host recommended a shuttle bus to the airport which saved us euros and time. Thank you!

BelgiumWe had a bathroom which was not attached to our room, which was a pity. Not so convenient. On our last night, people arrived late (23.00) and received the brief explanation from the host still in the kitchen area, but was pretty loud and not convenient to sleep.
The location of the B&B couldn't be better. On a 5 minutes walking distance from the Vatican, really superbe! The hostess was really great, went the extra mile to make sure the breakfast was adapted to my food allergies, what made this stay so comfortable. She also gave us a map of Rome with a lot of information, as well as a list of restaurants, which was really nice and helpful.

All the places we wanted to visit (Colliseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain etc) were within walking distance. The Host was extremely helpful, providing a list of local restaurants to go to. Breakfast was good, with a plentiful supply of Cereal, Toast and Yoghurt, with Coffee and Juices also on hand.

CanadaOne improvement that could be made is the breakfast, it's functional but minimal. We thought it would be great if more fresh and less packaged food was made available.
Really great location, steps away from the Vatican and the Metro. There's also plenty of really good restaurants in the neighborhood which the host recommended to us. Chiara went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and give us suggestions on how to navigate the city. The AC worked perfectly and was a relief to have.
