Really loved our stay at Hotel Florida. The staff were all very welcoming and would go out of their way to help you. The rooms were spotless and just the right size and as expected Breakfast was great and accommodated for most dietary requirements. The onsite restaurant was also very good for lunch by the pool. They do open for evening meals but we did have an opportunity to eat there in the evening. The pool area is just perfect, lovely sized pool with a shallow area for kids and a lovely seating area with Jacuzzi jets at the other end. There were plenty of sun beds and shade provided by the lemon and orange trees. It is also right next to the bar so you can enjoy a cold cocktail and ice cream when it gets too warm. The added bonus was pizza night which is cooked fresh in a Wood fired oven. One of the best pizzas we had during our stay and amazing value.

The only negative was it seemed expensive for what it was. I have stayed in many hotels and this seemed too pricey. However it was peak season and if the demand is there then fair play.

Sometimes, the rules of the pool were not withheld, eg noisy kids jumping in and being a disturbance without staff reminding not to, people drinking alcohol while in the pool freely under the noses of staff when that wasn’t allowed. Also wish the pool was open a little later after 18:30 as it was always so hot in the evenings! But these are minor points, and don’t take away from the greatness of our visit.

Not too far away from the centre, but far away enough to be quiet and calm. Walking distance from anywhere you need. Good pool, necessary for the heat! Kind staff. Very good breakfast🙏🏼

Hot food selection very minimal for breakfast. Bit of a chore in 28 degree heat trekking back and forward to town centre, taxi for 20-25 euros into town was a rip off for going 1.5km! Nothing to do with the hotel though!! No tea or coffee making facilites in our room

The room and bathroom needed a good daily brush! The bed was made, and fresh towels were given, but the floor needed cleaning.

The value for money was great. The air conditioning worked really well. The bed was comfortable. The pool is a good size. It was really quiet as it was not in the centre of town.

The staff were very helpful and friendly but confused us with the payment process regarding whether we pay through booking or directly through the property. Although it wasn’t a negative for us, it is away from the center so it is about a 10-15 minute walk in

The room was a bit on the small size and the bathroom had a stand alone sink with no room for you to place your toiletteries. There was also no hooks to hang towels to dry. The hotel was a bit distant from the city center. Although the walk was approximately 15 minutes, not having sidewalks on the narrow streets that were shared with vehicles didn't feel quite safe.

This was a nice boutique hotel with a total of approximately 10 rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. The property is in a quiet, safe and scenic location. The rooms and property are very well maintained. There is a buffet breakfast with a nice assortment. There is also an onsite restaurant with an amazing chef. We had a delightful dining experience.

The family room was spacious for our family of 4 and provided us with some privacy. It was clean, with all mod cons. The pool area is immaculate. The bed was comfy. The staff were amazing. Location was great, with a short walk into Sorrento centre.
