Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GreeceThe room was not soundproof. I could hear everything from the hall and next rooms. I had earplugs which at a point were thrown away during room cleaning, and as a result I was up all night. Some days the breakfast area was pretty crowded.
The room was clean and modern. The hotel was 4 minutes walking from the tram stop. Breakfast was good. Very close to the airport. Wi-fi free. Friendly staff.

United StatesOnly thing is wish the nearby metro/bus was close enough. It takes more than 20 min to reach the nearby public transport.
Room was good. We got it for parking, picked up rental car from the airport, but parking was limited. Had to struggle for parking, when we came back from dinner after 10 pm. But stuff was always open to help. Had most of the necessary items you need in lobby (you must pay). I would stay there again if I have to pickup car form the airport.

HungaryI would not have liked to stay longer. For 4 people this size room is small in my opinion. It would have been great if the toilet and shower were in separate rooms, I think for a room for 4 people it would have been handy too. The centre is not that close but tram and bus stops were nearby.
The staff was very nice, the room was perfect for one night and clean, the bed was comfortable. We had free parking at the hotel.

PortugalNext room clients were very noisy. I had to complain at the reception desk. The person at the reception desk did not show much commitment to resolving the situation. I understood that the rooms had no sound insulation, which is bad.

United KingdomThe hotel is a short tram ride from the centre of Florence (the nearest stop is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel). The facilities were good with clean rooms and facilities and nice breakfast options. The staff at the hotel reception were welcoming and promptly assisted with any queries that my family and I had.
