Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The hotel is extremely welcoming, combining original fortress architecture with a modern extension. The design of the hotel is very sensitive to every detail. The staff is very helpful, attentive to the needs of the guests. In addition to the very pleasant wellness center, I would also appreciate the friendliness of the restaurant and the quality of the food. We have been to the hotel for the second time and would be happy to return again.

BulgariaThe hotel is in very beautiful old stony building, it looks very cute and romantic inside, but in the restaurant is a bit chilly, so make sure to have warmer clothes for the dinners. Also, the spa area is quite small, so it gets a bit crowded.
The service in the hotel is perfect. Although it is not on the ski slopes, they have a very regular shuttle that drives you to and from the lift, so it does not affect in any way the ski experience.

My wife and I stayed for a week at the hotel, opting for half-board, and paying a little extra for a mountain-view balcony. Everything about the experience was utterly positive. The breakfast and evening meals exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and choice, but we would particularly want to praise the hotel staff - restaurant, front-of-house, cleaning, all, who were always cheery and helpful, making our stay even better than we might have wished. Also, little things that made a difference for us - we have a large estate car, and had no problem at any point finding a parking space; the fact that there was a mini bar in the room that meant we could keep our drinks chilled in the middle of a very hot summer; the system for ordering each evening's meal (we chose our courses from a menu each morning).

PolandGreat atmosphere, amazing restaurant, fantastic people - we spent 8 wonderful days in the ski season with 2 children. We got a large superior suite with a private jacuzzi, very comfortable, my children were in the focus of the staff who always fulfill all our wishes. We were so pleased with the great Italian cuisine and hospitality that we wanted to dine only at the hotel. Very close to the ski area, with a private ski bus. The most beautifull and comfortable place I have ever been in the Dolomites.

SlovakiaAs I mentioned, we had to help ourselves with the couch so that we could sleep on it. It was our luck that a spare mattress was stored there. I took a stitch for that couch, otherwise everything was fine.
We did not live directly in a hotel, but in a cottage in the center of Arabba. The cottage was spacious, the beds in the bedrooms comfortable, the kitchen nice and quite well equipped, the bathroom very nice. The only thing that was a problem at the beginning was the sofa bed because there were 6 of us. The mattresses there were very low and uncomfortable. But then we found a nice high mattress on the way and we put the 2 thin ones on top of each other and it turned out to be a quite comfortable bed for two, so everything was in order. We were also in the wellness at the hotel, which was quite good, except we had a bit of a problem with the whirlpool. I would definitely return there the next time I go to the Dolomites.

United KingdomA little difficult to control the temperature in the rooms. Booking website says it is ‘ski in/ ski out’ which it is not (though we knew this before booking). Everything else was great.
Food was excellent. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Cosy and stylish public rooms. Staff very helpful and friendly. Well set up for skiing, though it is a short drive to the lifts
