Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very convenient apartment with good beds. It's located in a lovely street with lot's of restaurants and bars. Very close to Piazza Maggiore, only a 10 minute walk. The indoor market and supermarket are about 5 minutes walk. The place itself was quiet. A lot is included, for example a percolator and coffee, so you can make your own coffee in the morning. There are also extra blankets for colder nights. The host responded very quickly and it was easy to check in and out.

SingaporeThe toilet is very narrow and small. I kept hitting against the sink and shower area. The heater in the toilet is not on (there is a city-wide policy for this). If you go back late at night, it can be pretty dark outside the doorstep.
It's very cute and relative clean apartment. Everything you need is in the apartment. You have a small cafe style dining area at the kitchen. The decoration is very cosy. It's located at the ground level so you dont have to carry your luggages up alots of stairs like what we experienced in other part of italy. They provide toiletries.

RomaniaOnly thing that could benefit this location is better attention to cleanliness, since there was dust in some places and in the wardrobe, but it's very important to mention that all the things that really matter were clean. Bed sheets, towels, fridge, bathroom, were all clean and smelled nice. So it wasnt really a problem for us.
The owner was very nice, he offered to help us with anything we may need. We thought that the entrance to the apartment is located on the street, but in fact the acces is made from an interior yard of an apartment building, so it's quiet and private. It is equiped with everything you may need, including a good hair dryer, wine opener, plates, cutlery, moka pot, coffee, etc. The AC cools the room in a few minutes. It is located very close to the center and you have countless shops, restaurants, bars and even a fruit and vegetable market at max 5 min walking distance. It is also close to bus stations. The train station is also at walking distance, aprox 20 min, we were able to walk there with all our luggage and it wasn't hard at all. All in all, great value for money. It's the only top rated location that we were able to find at this good price, inside the old center. Highly recommend the place.

United KingdomNot so much a dislike but a suggestion. I like to cook so a couple of smaller pans would have been useful.
The accommodation had everything we needed. Close to the station, very close the the historic centre, market and bars. The host was very kind and helpful, he sent a message via WhatsApp to explain he would meet us so to contact when we were in the taxi from the airport, he came to meet us to let us in and show us where everything was even though we arrived quite late.

GreeceThere is only one window and not much light gets inside the apartment during the day but it wasn't much of a problem for us.
The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the city center and close to the train station as well. Very clean, well equipped, and comfortable for two people. Also, the host is very kind and helpful.
