My room was so nice! It was a renovated attic room and it couldn’t have been more perfect for 1-2 people. The breakfast staff, Aurelia, was so nice and friendly. It was a pleasure to meet her AND the breakfast were both good and filling. The owners were also helpful and pleasant. The rooms were always nicely cleaned every day. Thank you Hotel Edda!

Very welcoming and friendly manager, and perfectly located across the road from the bus, cosy loft room which I adopted as my hobbit hole, wonderful access to lifts and trails - a bike or hiker paradise. Breakfast was amazing! I could not be accommodated for dinner during my stay but the recommendation for Valentines was fabulous! Absolutely wonderful! L

The location was great and right next to the bus stop of which they provided us with bus tickets for. Breakfast was fantastic with a variety to suit all needs. The staff were fabulous, always trying to help and spoke good English. 10/10 would highly recommend this hotel.

AustraliaThe rooms were very clean and comfortable, with new amenities and nice views. The hotel was not super central, but it was easy to walk to the restaurants and bars in the evening. The breakfast was fantastic and generous, with a lot of options and fresh products. The hotel also provided parking and bus passes, which was very convenient for exploring Val Gardena, including the beautiful Seceda mountain. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great location and a relaxing stay in Val Gardena

United StatesWhile there was a separate little toilet room with a door, the main bathroom didn't have a door, so the shower was quite open for a room shared with a non-romantic friend.
Breakfast was excellent, such a wide variety of choices, all of the highest quality. The room was beautiful and well appointed. The staff was among the friendliest of all the people we encountered on our trip.

Whilst a little out of the main town of Selva (10mins walking) it was right outside the Plan bus stop which made it very convenient. Also right near the Fungeia lift which gave you an unfetted run direct to the Selva Ciampioni gondola. Very well run hotel with great breakfasts thrown in.

An excellent move is the hiring of international staff (I highlight the excellent waitress Danijela), because this contributes to a better connection with guests who are from various countries.

The service provided by the staff was incredible. The owner was so warm and welcoming, and seemed to be available whenever you needed her for advice about excursions or questions about the area. The waitress is also so friendly and kind and seems to go above and beyond the expected call of duty. The food that we had for dinner there is easily one of the best meals we have ever had. The price to stay at hotel edda is incredible considering the value you receive. You are treated like family and stay in a clean, spacious room that feels like home.
