The rooms were quite comfortable and good. Shower and bathroom could be slightly bigger but just a minor issue. The rooms were also sometimes too warm and the AC couldn’t be controlled in the room (but I think that is intentional)

Loved the resort feeling and beautiful gardens. Great to have different bars during the whole day. Dinner was also great. Lovely and nice staff.

One negative is the aircon/heating system. They have the heating on in the winter months and the aircon on over the summer months, which meant that we only had heating on in our hotel room which in May can get rather warm. We had to ask for the heating to be switched off in our room, as we had a very really warm days and the room was getting hot. As the heating was turned off, you had to keep you balcony door open to get some air circulating in the room. It's not ideal, for a 4 star hotel you expect to be able to control the air temperature in your own room. And if the heating/cooling is off, the room should still be ventilated - the air system here seems dated.

Location is great, a short walk into town with access to a private beach. The room was big and bright, with amazing views of the lake from our balcony. Room has everything you need (coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer, tv, comfy bed, etc) and the breakfast was good - had a few options to choose from. Staff were friendly and the hotel has a great restaurant with an amazing view. We had lunch there most days, then headed to the pool.

There is nothing we didn't like.

We loved the room. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and everybody was very friendly and polite. Receptionists were very helpful and gave us some good advices.

The staff accused on several occasions of having more than 2 people to a room. We were a family of 6 and a baby and me and my mother had the largest room so everyone was coming into the room to relax, use the sauna etc but sleeping in their own rooms which we explained several times and eventually they understood but I didn’t like being accused and questioned 3 separate times.

The attentive and friendly staff were particularly helpful as one of the family has a nut allergy and another is a vegan who doesn't eat tomatoes but nothing was a problem and the selection of delicious food was incredible Grazie Mille lo chef!

The hotel allowing residents from the next hotel to rent sun loungers in the best spots. Hotel Du Lac guests should take priority as they have already paid a premium to stay at the hotel.

Starting from the views and accessibility to the lake and finish with the modern and comfortable rooms. Amazing! We wish we stayed more than one night here. Best stay in Lago di Garda!

- Air conditioning was switched off from the hotel, but it’s not a big problem you can open the window. - Bathroom doesn’t give you a full privacy because the shower opened on the room.

Location with the lake view, breakfast, and the staff were very friendly. room is modern style, bed is comfortable. parking is free on the site. check in and out was smoothly.

The only thing that I didn't like was they gave us nonremovable bracelets to show that we were part of the hotel for the facilities. These were uncomfortable and didn't look great. They should change them for rubber removable ones so you can take them off when not in the hotel and reuse them.

Great location on the beach. Great room and ability to use the spa and gym. Only a short 15 min walk into Limone. We really enjoyed it.

The staff were excellent. One of the members of the spa was a tiny bit snooty but still gave a really good treatment. The others were very friendly and also good.

Breakfast was good. Dinner was very practical, with a buffet for starters, vegetables, salads and cheeses etc. If you wan't something fancier I would recommend going out for dinner in the town Limone sul Garda which is only a short walk away for any able bodied person. Swimming pool was great. Swimming in the lake was great and easy to reach from our room. I did yoga beside the pool one morning and it was great also.

We love everything about this hotel! it is close enough to the center for comfortable walking (approx 15min) and far enough so you’re away from the tourism downtown and can truly relax at the pool or bathe right at the shore. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond to help us with arranging our travel to our next destination upon check out. we had such a great time here we almost extended our stay. Breakfast was good and staff was always punctual with all services.

If you have a chance, book this place for your getaway at Garda lake. The direct lake access, spa, amenities in the room, very nice breakfast, and super modern room, all just amazing. Let’s just say not your usual Italian hotel…

Dead at night. Can’t sit on your balcony to play cards etc at night as balconies have no lights. Standard Rooms are quite small. No tea /coffee facility in room. You feel like you’re in Germany not Italy! At breakfast and in the restaurant in the evening staff speak to you in German. Thankfully we do speak some German. I love speaking it when I’m in Austria but not in Italy!! I explained we were not German, I responded in Italian but still the German continued! It’s also very typically German in that everything wraps up about 10pm. The hotel is a 0.5mile gradual uphill walk from the centre of Limone. We did find a great restaurant just along the road called Dal Bigarola and the bar in nearby Hotel Limone has a great atmosphere at night!

Pool area is nice pool bar and reception staff are great. Special mention to Angela & Katya

The staff is extremely unfriendly, they didn't want to find a solution for us, when we asked to drink coffeee outside. We had to be inside of hotel, like we were in prison.
