A drink making facility would have been nice. The restaurant was open on a limited basis and out of season all cafes etc closed.

We had a small room with a balcony but for an older couple such as we are, there was no where to sit comfortably. No chair in the room and two very very low garden chairs on the patio. The curtain was broken, the lighting in the room was dim. Breakfast was average at best with watery scrambled eggs, uncooked bacon, canned sausages and packaged bread.

The location overlooking both the mountain and also the town was wonderful and there was plenty of parking nearby (in summer.) Staff were very friendly and helpful, it was all very clean and the little lounge/bar was very nice. Everything we needed was within walking distance from the hotel.

Nice hotel in the centre of Sestriere but located on the main road so if you get the room on the side of the road it might be quite noisy. On the other side there are pubs open till late. Earplugs can help. I missed also a kettle for thee or coffee.

It was cold in the rooms in September and cleaning ladies often let the windows open although it was less than 10 degrees outside.

For a small extra fee, they allowed to take my cat with me. The other itself is a bit outdated, but the rooms seem to be rather recently renovated.. so the room was modern and with cozy design. I did not have breakfast there, but the buffet dinner was with very good selection.

Room facing the main road, noisy if the window opened. Quite warm, didn't rest well. Didn't feel welcomed when checking in. It was a total opposite experience with the other hotels in nearby resorts where I had good feelings. I asked the lady at the reception two times for the bus stop to Cesana, and she told me two times wrong bus stop ! Thanks to the man who overheard our conversation and came to show me the correct bus stop. I travelled extensively in mountain resorts in Europe, this is my least favourite place.

There isn't really a lobby or bar, or at least it wasn't obvious that it was functioning as such: there is a room next to the reception that looks like it, but the bar didn't seem to be manned and it was playing kids TV half of the time one evening. A balcony would have ben great but we didn't see that option when booking.

We had a smooth check-in and check-out experience and the 3-bed room had plenty of space for our bags. Half of the hotel has mountain-views and those are awesome. The other have must have a view on one of the main streets, which won't be as great. Breakfast was very decent, with fresh fruit, pancakes and croissants, eggs & bacon, etc. We did not try the restaurant in the evening, opting for pizzerias across the street (try Baby!). We could park our car for free behind the hotel.

The beds were extremely hard. When we went to pay our bill the night before we left as we were leaving at 6:45am to get our early flight home the next morning the staff member behind the desk was not impressed as she had already done the end of day banking. It clearly says at reception that you can check out between 8am and 10pm and we were there to pay our bill at 9:45pm. She insisted we came back the next morning at 7:30 to pay our bill but we had to explain quite a few times that this was not possible as we had to leave early to catch our flight back to London. She was not very happy with this and was quite miserable with us when we paid our bill.

The staff was not friendly, especially the woman at the front desk. She was borderline rude when asked for anything, like we were a bother for asking any questions. The rooms without a balcony open onto the Main Street through town, we fortunately switched to a balcony room or it would have been cramped and noisy. It would be great if rooms had a mini fridge.

The view from the balcony was excellent. There were many trails to hike.

One night it was a bit loud due to the fact that some group of students were staying, but after 10 pm more or less it was quiet.

Really nice rooms and excellent food superb underground secure parking for my motorbike, the Manager of the hotel was so helpful he even walked down to the underground car park to make it easier for me and helped carry my bags to the room

Everything. Sestriere is such a beautiful resort and it’s a great time to see it while it’s quiet (as it’s primarily a world class ski resort)
