The room was really nice and spacious with everything you may need during your stay. Marco was amazing, told us a lot of interesting things, recommended many places where we went and it was cool. The room where you have breakfast looks like museum and has an interesting history also. It’s located in 15-20 minutes walking from the city Center so you can avoid the crowd and noise of the night in the city Center. So I really recommend this place. If one day I go back to Florence, I will definitely go to this hotel again. Grazie mille Marco!

The location of the Apartment is very good. It’s in front of a Bus station. Within 5-10 minutes you can reach the city center by bus. If you want to walk you need around 20-25 minutes to the cathedral. The rooms where very clean and you get free water every day. During the day you can go the rooftop on the apartment, where you have a great city view. The breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. You can ask him everything and he has a huge knowledge about the city.

We thought the hotel would have it's own, private parking spaces. That is not the case but you can park in the blue area directly in front of the hotel. The 8€/day for parking are therefore not included in the price. We think that is absolutely fine and a really economic price. It would have just have been great to to know that in advance. As a suggestion to the hotel: You could ask guests if they would like to eat gluten free, vegetarian or even vegan. That way you could adapt the buffet a little bit and/or use the tiny cupboard next to the door for the "special" options (e.g. with a tag of the room number so that it is easier to identify). It would be even fine to pay a little more for that options. And you could indicate on the website to offer vegan options as well :)

We loved the family ambient of this hotel where you won't expect lots of staff. It is therefore very calm, very clean and quiet during the night. You will be welcomed by a very kind Italian couple who own the hotel and who tried their very best to offer us vegan options for breakfast (since "vegan options" are not indicated on the website we have been very happy with a variety of fruits, cereal and black coffee). We have even been offered a special Italian fruit juice and a (vegan) cake that Is typical for the region. You can walk easily into the centre within 10-15 minutes (might sound a lot but the walk by the water is actually quite beautiful and you will already see pretty buildings and walk straight along the water towards the famous old bridge). We have been given a map of Florence and could therefore easily see all the sights. This friendly atmosphere of being given a map, getting explained where to go etc. makes quite a difference! WE WOULD DEFINITELY BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN!

The property is outside of the city centre, which results in about a 15 minute walk to get there, but, that wasn’t a problem for us, and actually quite nice after the amount of food that we consumed!

Marco and Cristina were great hosts and gave us some really good recommendations upon our arrival, which made our time in Florence extra special. Their tips for watching the sunset, the best gelato, restaurant choices, and places to visit during our stay were nothing short of perfect. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, with an amazing painted ceiling in the breakfast area, and interesting antique furniture in the bedrooms. There’s also a nice roof terrace. There was parking in the street outside the property, and the hosts even gave us some bus tickets that we could use during our time there.

I liked everything about the property.

Beautifully presented, comfortable, such knowledgable and friendly hosts. Marco explained about the things we should try and see, and gave us a fantastic history of the area. Recommended great restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and as much as we wanted. Coffee some of the best I have had in Italy! Would definitely go back. Even the hairdryer was a modern, efficient dryer!

The room was very nice with paintings on the ceiling. It matches exactly the florence vibe.

The service was excellent. The couple managing the property are very nice, and provide personalized service. My partner has a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating and went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. The owner took time to explain to us where to go in the city and gave us recommendations. Also we managed to book our visor to the uffizi gallery through them although we found it sold out on the internet.

Christina and Marco were wonderful hosts! They provided us with all the information needed and thought of everything - bus tickets, reduced parking tickets, maps with local restaurants they preferred and Marco gave us some historic insights. The house is beautiful and the room was super clean and really comfortable. You see the love for details and the rooftop terrace is exceptional! We already decided that we want to stay there everytime we are back in Florence.

The communication before the booking was always timely and the welcome super friendly. Marco knows a lot about Firenze and nearby regions and provided us with so many good recommendations. The rooms are marvelous and the hotel is located only a nice footwalk along the river from the historic center. Both, Marco and Christina, treated us truly like guests and not just like customers. We felt very welcome and would have loved to stay longer.

The breakfast was so-so. It was a little odd that you had to choose between a sweet breakfast or a savory breakfast, and you couldn't have a little of each. The AC was also not super powerful. However, the main thing we struggled with was how far away the B&B was from the city center. We quickly learned that the buses weren't reliable and it was nearly impossible to get a taxi when it was raining, so we frequently had to walk 25-30 minutes in the rain to get anywhere.

The staff were super friendly and the bed was comfortable. We loved the artwork in the dining room and in the bedroom. It rained quite a bit while we were there, so we appreciated that they provided umbrellas.

1. I couldn't connect to Wi-Fi despite numerous attempts and review of my PC settings. 2. Electrical sockets were incompatible with modern standards. Only 1 to accommodate EU fittings. Others dated/old.

1. The helpfulness of host/hostess. A comprehensive brief covering the services of Florence. The hostess even did my ironing for me, no charge. 2. Accessibility to the tourist area of Florence was easy walking. 3. Room size amazing, though electrical sockets few and dated. 4. Breakfast was stylish and sufficient.
