A bit disappointed with the look of the entrance, reception, room size … on the photos these all looks much better. The prices in the hotel’s restaurant is relatively high and the portions are very small and taste is not really delicious. Better go out to the city.

It was very quiet, we felt like the only guests there. Also, no proper service on the beach, if we had waiters come to us (and not us having to seek them down), we would have definitely ordered much more. And the hotel could have made a profit!! We also wanted to have some cocktails and coffees in the hotel bar, but never was there a waiter or barman in the area to help us or assist us, so we simply went elsewhere.

The free sunloungers on the beach were great. The hotel has had a beautiful refurbishment, it looked pristine, designery and new. If only it also had more people there to enjoy it as the people end up creating the atmosphere, in the end!

The gourmet resraurant was poor. Very small portions, over salty, bread wasnt fresh or homemade. But since we complained they took off the price of the food from the bill. The rooms in the old part were small but we got moved to the new part as our conditioning was broken

Price for value was below expectations. To be specific, the breakfast buffet did not include things like a simple fried egg or toast bread. You could order these but for a high price (7 EUR for 2 poached eggs on a single toast or 8 EUR for toast bread, 10EUR for sliced fruit). I also gave lower score for the staff as some of the waiters at breakfast were a bit rude. The reception team however was great!

The first night they put us in a room in the unrenovated side of the hotel, that was hardly a 4 stars accommodation, but then they moved us to the new , renovated side and those rooms are absolutely worth it.

The staff are really helpful and kind , the beach is very nice and the restaurant exceptional if a bit expensive.

However staffs are very very kind and helpful and friendly. Pool facilities are not so convenient - towels are not so easily available and to go to the rest rooms you have to cross over the reception area in your bath robe :-)

Restaurant food is okay but not great. Could improve. Rooms need to be updated but still match the hotel. Don’t need to rip everything out but needs maintenance and things addressed! Bathrooms need help. Electrical also. Beds are really hard. Pillows flat and hard. Beds should be opulent in any hotel. It’s expensive for the condition and comfort of the rooms. Restaurant expensive for quality. You can get a much better price and still have nice amenities at other hotels on the strip.

Outdoor spaces are wonderful. Large beachfront also. Nice to have a pool. Small but appreciated. Staff worked very hard to make sure you are well taken care of. Restaurant food is ok but not great. Could improve.

Showers, electrical, bed too hard, pillows terrible The rooms can use some updating. I’m not for being wasteful but things like the bathroom shower leaks and floods floor and it’s causing big damage. Bathtubs can be removed, damage repaired, problem repaired and same bathtub put back. Electrical should be updated. Lots of things that are easy to update without tearing out or big expense. Beds are very hard and pillows are terrible. Those are easy fixes as well. Mattress topper and better pillows.

The location is excellent. The hotel has exceptional outdoor areas. I enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurants are very good. Staff work very hard to make sure you are well taken care of. Excellent staff.

We were offered the worst room last minute (first floor in fron of the entrance) due to the hotel who realized they did not take into consideration our inital booking request i.e. room with 2 single beds. Then a lady guest next door screamed all night long because she could not open the door of her room to find her son. The hotel security did not have the key to open the door and only asked us to wait until the cleaning lady arrives in the monring ! We did not sleep at all ! No tissue, no bottle of water, no coffee machine in the room, which is very disappointing for a 4 star hotel.

The only thing that could have enhanced our one night stay at the Diana would have been a room overlooking the Med. A grand hotel indeed this is. Dinner was a culinary experience to be repeated and breakfast choices were excellent.

Location is good. Near to railway station. It has its own sandy beach with sun loungers and beach towels. The Ligurian Sea was wonderful and clean. Great view from our balcony. A lot of restaurants near by the hotel. Some minutes walking to the Old city. Breakfast was good.

It was a trip with my family I book everything by myself via booking and it’s was a surprise … absolutely not disappointed It’s a perfect place to chill ,rest and enjoy this quiet place . The serve is perfect special mention for Lorenzo our hero for our stay He was incredible with us ,thank again for his work … For sure if we come back in Alassio we don t have to try an other place we find this hotel when you try it’s adopt it . Perfect breakfast nice private beach on the front of the hotel . And the pool OMG no words to describe it the must peaceful place ever …

The rooms are ugly. They did a cheap refresh instead of remodeling. Painted everything including bathroom tiles!Ugly and in very bad taste. Bathroom looks like a jail. Rooms and bathrooms are Not attractive or welcoming. Unfortunate. This hotel deserves better. I don’t know if the current owners don’t have the money to remodel or keep it up to better standards, or if they choose not to. Either way, it’s Unfortunate. Room prices are not inexpensive. Beach restaurant manager isn’t good. Not classy. They charge for beach lounge chairs and towels. Bed pillows are flat and terrible

This used to be one of the best hotels on the strip. Changed owners. Not being kept up to the same standards. Hotel has nice, large private beach and nice, big outdoor spaces. Restaurant is decent. Staff are not very warm but they are polite.

Rooms were slightly improved. If it were my hotel, I would put more effort into it. They painted over everything! Best not to tear everything out. Good to conserve resources. The rooms and bathrooms are very basic but at least they are clean and everything functions! pillows are still hard and uncomfortable. Bed and bedding in a hotel should be opulent. Room could be made more comfortable. Parking is expensive Beach lounge chairs and towel rental is expensive.

Hotel is in a good position on the beach strip. All outdoor spaces are spacious and lovely. Very pretty and relaxing. Big private beach. Bar and lounge areas are also large and nice. Has a small partially enclosed pool. I enjoyed dining at the Marina restaurant. The one next to the beach. Lovely atmosphere. Food was good. Service was good. Beautiful breakfast. Seating on the grand terrazzo. Staff are very accommodating and friendly! I enjoyed my stay!
