If I had to complain, I’d say the water pressure isn’t the best. But the building is incredibly old so that’s to be expected. No real complaints.

We liked everything. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal. Breakfast was perfect. We were a family of 4 and they accommodated us with an extra bed. If we come back to Florence, we will stay here. Leonardo was the best. His recommendations are very helpful.

There should be a luggage rack, coffee maker and skin moisturizer in rooms.

The soap was incredible. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The staff was so helpful and lovely. Happy hour was a great perk.

It’s a central location which is probably great for most but it was overwhelming coming out of the hotel into the crowded city centre streets of Florence.

Although we liked the hotel and the staff, it really needs a renovation. The rooms and the furniture are old. The carpets in the hallways are old. Clean and functional but worn out.

The hotel is in a perfect location and very quiet. It was walking distance to all the main attractions. The room is big and spacious, staff is friendly, good breakfast. A/c in the room worked well.

It was no issue for us but for those with mobility issues, there is a one floor of stairs to reach the elevator.

We stayed in Florence for one night and was very pleased with our choice of hotel. The hotel is very centrally located within walking distance of all the major sites and a 15mins walk from the train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in Florence.

Bathroom was a little dated and needs a renovation. Shower leaked all over floor.

The staff was amazing! Great perks like free breakfast, snacks and cold water available all day, and free drink at happy hour. The location was fantastic, within a 10 minute walk to all of the major hotspots and right in the fashion district with high end stores.

We really like the property but I would say it needs a little bit of TLC in some of the rooms. Nothing major though.

The staff were excellent. In particular Leonardo thank you for being so welcoming, but I must say all staff were very friendly and customer focused. Hotel Davanzati please make sure you keep the staff.. Loved the happy hour. Also tea and cake were a nice touch.

The shower was a bit tight. Shower head in the middle made it difficult to bathe at times. The ~24 steps to get into the place may be a bit much for some, but the staff will help bring up luggage.

Leonardo at the front desk was terrific. He made several restaurant recommendations and all were perfect. The breakfast staff was courteous and efficient.

Incredible stay at the Hotel Davanzati! Angelo at the front desk was so incredibly helpful- from parking our car with the valet to making recommendations for restaurants! The room for our family of 4 was so comfortable and clean! We loved the location and were close to all the activities and shopping we wanted to do! Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting lovely experience a Firenze! Breakfast was awesome too!
