The bathroom is not very suitable: it is small and when you take a shower the floor gets all wet.

I did get locked in my room once because the key and lock are a bit outdated, but the staff responded to my request for help immediately, and I had no other issues with the door. The AC also could have been stronger (it gets really hot in Bologna in the summer!), but I probably didn't understand the remote control, and it was adequate for the time I was there.

The central location was amazing. The staff were exceptional: they stayed late to check me in when my bus arrived late, and Namy gave me so much helpful information about the city when I arrived. She literally gave me a map and outlined the city's important neighborhoods, locations of tourist attractions, and recommendations for non-touristy bars and restaurants. She also gave me her WhatsApp and was always available to answer questions; she is so kind, friendly, and patient! My room was very comfortable and quiet - even though the B&B is in the city center, I really couldn't hear outside noise.

No curtains in the room so the light came in very early at around 4am. Also there is a tourist tax which is not mentioned on the page, so you have to pay an extra £4.20 per night, even though the booking says it includes all taxes and charges...

If you have mobility issues than I would make sure you booked the lower rooms as the stairs could be a problem to some. Room had a small fridge but I think in the future they should possibly replace this as they weren't effective in cooling but it's a very minor thing. Fresh filtered water is available everyday so plenty to drink.

Lovely stay, staff helpful and welcoming. We arrived very early and could drop off our bags and have a little walk around bologna, then returned for coffee. Accommodation typical of bologna properties. If you want ultra modern rooms etc then don't stay in the centre of bologna,go find a new build/hotel on the outskirts of Bologna but you will miss out on the experience of what makes this city great. Our room was quiet and comfortable, plenty of hot water for shower after a long day walking around. Light breakfast available in the morning don't expect a hotel continental breakfast as Italians don't have a large breakfast. What was available was perfect for our needs. Namy was lovely and went out of her way to be helpful and arranged are stay well.

Room was smaller than anticipated. Small shower. OK for one person.

Exceptional staff. Manager Namy super helpful with directions and ideas on what to do. Fluent in Italian, French and English. Good a/c. Large window offered pleasant roof top views and a breeze. Wholesome breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, cereal and fresh baked cakes and pastries. Excellent location only a few minutes' walk to central plaza and cathedral. Totally safe walking in the evening.

The location is placed in the center of Bologna, which is a big advantage. Staff was nice and easy to reach out to, over phone or Whatsapp.

The room was too small for the bed. The bed was very comfortable. I think the cupboards could go and replaced with a clothing rail to create more room. This wound also mean you could get the chest of drawers over to the plug And then the kettle could be plugged in. At the moment you have to move the kettle over to the plug. It’s a bit inconvenient. Could also do with a bit of oil on the hinges and maybe a draft excluder on the doors so they close a bit softer. Apart from that it’s lovely.

Poor choice of non-sweet snacks during the breakfast. Uncomfortable bed and very hard pillows, after one night my whole body hurt. Fortunately, there were more soft additional pillows. Poor Internet connection. Also, there was no table, so for a business trip it might be not a good variant.

I like the localization (15 minutes from the railway station, 2 minutes from the main square, good restaurants and bars nearby), the staff were very friendly and helpful, a spacious quiet room for a solo traveler.

Wiring of Electric outlets was dangerously exposed. Street noise was very loud due to the super thin windows – – even when they were closed. Bedding on the beds was not of natural materials, and was therefore very hot. The shared bathroom which we had been told was used only for workshops was in fact, used by both Namy and her husband, and was not well cleaned. The door to the small room between the living room, and our bedroom was frequently left open, compromising our privacy.

The location is absolutely wonderful. The hostess – – Namy – – was very nice. She also prepared a lovely breakfast.

The owners extended many kindnesses to me, and accommodated my specific needs. Nicola even anticipated my needs and made sure they were covered. Everything was great.

The B&B is in the perfect location: a secluded place away from the crowds and noise, two block away from Piazza Maggiore, one straight line (around 1km) to Bologna Centrale. Amazing restaurants and cafés surrounding the B&B. Our quadruple room had a small kitchen equipped for quick meals, which was quite convenient for us. Nicola is a super host: always available, highly responsive, and focus to give the best experience to their customers. Highly recommended!
