The A/C in the larger room didn't get as cold as the one in the smaller and it was close to being uncomfortable. However, I imagine this is only an issue on really hot days! I also didn't realize this apartment didn't have a common area for people to gather, so something to consider if you're looking for communal spaces.

The location was great and the beds were very comfortable! The host was extremely nice and the rooms were large.

Ant problem should have been taken care before our arrival. It needs to be fumigated since it is an old building. Besides that, it is a great place to stay.

Location and service from the owner. She is a great host. We had some ant issue and she immediately fixed it. Great renovated place to stay. The place was very clean when we arrived. In the middle of the city, with easy access to the main attractions and restaurants. No need to rent a car.

the only minor gripe was that one of the bedrooms did not have exterior window access but having said that it did open to a utility room which had lots of exterior windows for fresh air.

Tiziana was so helpful in all respects, from booking our transfer from the airport to recommending local restaurants, including making a booking for us at a lovely restaurant which unfortunately we didn’t make it to as one of our kids became unwell.

The only issue was the water pressure, which wasn’t great when showering.

Good communication from the owner prior to our stay. She arranged the airport transfers for us, which were reliable and friendly. She met us on arrival and was friendly and welcoming. The apartment was bright and airy and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The property was in an excellent location. Just a few minutes walk from the Colosseum and the metro. Several local, affordable restaurants on the doorstep.

Great location and very warm property manager/assistant. It was a nice amount of space for our family of five— two bathrooms was a major plus! Kitchen was clean and we used the fridge for drinks/breakfast food. Easy to reach from the the metro.

Replacing new bed sheets. The bed I slept on has a big hole in the centre of the sheet. Not enough toilet paper, we have to run out to buy some more toilet papers.

We recommend an improvement on water pressure and hot water reserve for the showers. There were times the hot water ran out after only being used for 10 minutes.

COMMUNICATION: Quick response from the host via WhatsApp. She met us on arrival, giving the quick tour of the place herself. She is very personable, gives good recommendation for places to eat. She even made us reservation for a restaurant she recommended. LOCATION: Walking distance to transit system, a decent walk to main Roman sightseeing sites, very close to Colosseum! Lots of options to eat in the area. Quiet neighborhood, away from all the crowds. Building is safe and clean! COMFORT: Beds are comfortable and very clean!

The hot water pressure in the room could be a little better, and also, it was a little cold in the apartment over the night (I guess it has to do with the EU regulations about energy saving).

The location was excellent, with a lot of nice restaurants and bars nearby, the apartment was really spacious and clean. The host provided us with early check-in and late check-out (we could leave our bags untill later in the day for our flight).

There was no living room and a quite small kitchen, therefore it's best only to go to sleep there. Also a modest number of drinking glasses and hooks to put on clothes were a little uncomfortable.

Awful sewer smell; The manager tried sending out a plumber, but wasn't resolved during our stay (was told the building has old pipes and hot summer days created odors); TVs were tiny, but I guess who goes to Rome to watch TV; low water pressure for hot shower

Location great-easy walk to the Colosseum and Metro station; peekaboo view of the Colosseum from the room. Many great restaurants near by. Room on the top floor so limited street noise; The only building we stayed in that had an elevator. Good Wi-Fi

Secondary bedroom bed was old and very uncomfortable. There was a foul odor of sewage coming from the secondary bathroom. The air conditioning was limited. The booking agent entered the apartment twice unannounced (to my knowledge) once to shut off the air conditioning to “save the planet.” This was completely unacceptable. Rome is extremely hot and humid this time of year and I resent being dictated to how I am supposed to use the facilities that I paid for. Supplies like toilet paper, trash bags and bath towels were very limited. One towel per person for the entire week and bathrooms only had one roll of toilet paper for an entire week.

Sounds like a weird thing, but very stingy on the toilet paper. We were a family of five staying for four days with only two rolls.
