Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

New ZealandBreakfast staff tended to stare at patrons continuously, no exaggeration. We were aware accomodation was a little out of the way, nothing on the hotel but transport tends to be unreliable. Room gave off a musty smell, no fan in bathroom (if there was it wasn’t working). Did also have outside smells.
The hotel had all the facilities asked of it. Breakfast had a good selection of food. The gym has a variety of equipment, be that as it may be old. Reception decor was fantastic, complemented with a small bar. Staff were generally pleasant. Beds were slightly above average compared to others we have tried in Rome. Towels replaced and beds made on a daily, which was great.

Very kind staff at reception and restaurant. The rooms are huge compared to any modern 3 or even 4 star hotels. But the rooms lack facilities like a mini bar or tea-coffee. Rooms need renovation as well. Very good room cleaning service.

NorwaySheets was dirty and we booked room for three people but bed was made for only two people, we went to reception to ask about this situation they tried to argue that we booked it for only to but at the end we solve that problem. Employee's was chewing gum while talking to clients.

ArgentinaThe rooms didn’t provide any facilities or courtesies. Just the beds and the towels. No kettle, no coffee machine, no frigobar. I specifically asked to stay in two rooms one close to the other since my boys are 11 and 9 y.o. and they were faraway from each other. We had to split the family.
Location was great for our 1 night stay for the soccer match. It is walking distance from the Stadio Olimpico.

Room was cold and we slept 2 night in a cold room and in third night, we asked for heater and they gave us something although I asked first night and they said it is what it is!!! The room was noisy and we couldn't sleep well. We could hear everyone sound!!! I never recommend this hotel The safe box didn't work

There is no plug in the room for charge the phone close to your bed.. we charged one of the our phones in bathroom…Bathroom doorhandle was broken and everytime when we opened it was a problem. Inside the room there was little fridge but it was not working and then when we asked them to put our cake to fridge they did not help us about it..

PortugalRoom was small and very old, location is far from center of Rome around 5 km. Hotel has 3 stars but is not exactly the same feeling as it should. I stayed one night and I think is more than enough.
Staff was so friendly. I had a flight delay and I arrived around 2 A.M. I sent them an enail and informed them. I had a check-in late. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

HungaryUnfortunately, there are some things they could improve. There was no fridge in the room (and somehow there was no hot water on the last evening but that's okay). Cleanness wasn't perfect: there was a beer cap in the room when we checked in. Having no fridge and the lack of cleaning are some negative factors.
The hotel staff members are kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is just great, there are stores and even a pharmacy nearby and the bus stops Villa Severini and Vigna Clara are both very close to it (3 to 6 mins walking). The hotel itself is very stylish and has a unique, elegant atmosphere. Beds are very comfortable, we had a nice tv with many channels and an ice-cold air conditioner. The bathroom was very well-designed and had a nice interior. To sum it up, we had a really great time there, it is a nice place with a great price-value ratio.
