For us as a family with small child it was a tiny bit too far from Florence. You need to drive 12 mins by car to Lastra a Signa train station and part of it is on dirt road and on relatively windy roads. The train takes 15 mins to Florence main station but only leaves once every hour. The last train back from Florence is at 21:28pm.

The accomodation looked better than on the photos. It was very spacious and had good amenities. There was a small playground in front of our apartment and the garden in front of of the 2 bedroom apartment had shade all day long. The pool area was beautiful and had shade all day long. There are altogether 3 apartments on site. There is an amazing fish restaurant opposite the accomodation 10 mins drive away. Would highly recommend eating there. Valentina the property manager was really helpful and looked after us very well.

The only thing missing is a dishwasher and a washing machine. (You can use the washing machine in their office for 10euros) but the convenience of having it in the apartment would have been better. Could have used it as per our timing.

The location, the house, the owner Valentina and her colleague Matteo were so helpful. Anything I needed I could ask her and she responded immediately. It’s a little outside Florence but if you’re looking to stay in the countryside it’s perfect. The place is exactly how it looks in the pictures. The views are amazing and their gardens are so well kept. Unfortunately we could not use the pool as the weather was cold otherwise I’m sure it would have been great to use.

it is quite remote and you are unable to walk anywhere but we were aware of this and had a rental car.

Valentina was an amazing host, she made us feel very comfortable and was at hand for any queries we had. The villa had everything we could have asked for, was super clean. The Pool is lovely, there is loads of space and little things to do around the place.

Beautifully maintained, peaceful property . Front (and back) garden space. Thanks for the welcome pizza and wine. And starter packs of tea/ coffee/ spices and Mosquito plugs. Loads of possibilities for day trips in the vicinity..or just to chill. Easy access to Firenze by train ( use own vehicle to train station) Valentina is super.

Had a great view and the property was amazing. The service from Valentina and Giuseppe was super friendly and they were kind in every moment. They were always available. We experienced the Tuscan vibe during our stay.

Very clean, spacious house, beautifully located. Property well taken car of by the owners. Very friendly welcome by Valentina. Good starting point for trips to Firenze (train recommended to avoid car park issues), Volterra etc.

The property is in a wondeful position amongst Toscany hill, it is isolated on one of them and there is nobody around. You can get a fantastic view and sunset from the pool. Valentina is a very nice girl always there to help you if it is necessary. The bedrooms are huge and provided with AC, even it was not necessary at the beginning of June, because of the position the climate was perfect

The only challenging thing is the lack of available transportation but if you call ahead for a taxi you probably have a better chance at getting a ride. If in need the hosts will always help!

This stay was exceptional. Nothing has ever compared to the way the hosts make you feel and the scenery of the location. My friends and I have not stopped talking about our stay and how much we want to come back.

We were a family of five. The place was spacious and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. The host - Valentina - was great. She was always available and went out of her way to help us in any way she could.

The cooking items provided could be better such as soup scoop, more cooking pots . We were not informed that they will not replenish toilet papers or coffee powder . Small issues but would be great if we were informed as the location were a bit out of town … Valentina did however provide us with extra toilet paper .
