The aircon speed couldn’t be lowered so I had to turn it off to sleep, then was hot all night. Horribly cracked chair that didn’t match the standard of the rest of the room.

Very close to Piazza Principe station. The “single” room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Breakfast okay.

The location was great! Just some steps from the train station and 10 to 15 mins walk from the city center. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Everything was good only we just felt that our room had no refrigerator, so in these hot summer days we couldn’t keep drinks cool there, but it’s ok maximum time we were outside so for us that’s not a big issues.

It is very close to the central station and metro bus stops are very near to the hotel, just like next door, that’s why we selected it and we were happy to move spontaneously everywhere 🙂

The staff really made all the difference here. We picked the hotel because it seemed like a good value and was right next to the train station. When wee arrived the staff was warm and welcoming and went out of their way to help us figure out how to get around the area and what was worth going to see and explore.

Clean, perfect location at city center. A minute walk from train/ bus station with easy access from airport transfer. 3 minute walk from MSC cruise terminal. Ladies at the front are very welcoming and helpful.

I don't think it's a very safe place in the evening. Since we stayed in Genoa for 1 day and did not go out at night, we did not have any problems. But I must say that I was impressed on the way back to the hotel in the evening.

Very clean room. Directly opposite the railway station, but safe area, including the hotel which can only be entered after ringing a bell. Also, each floor has a seperate entrance reserved to the habitants at that floor. All in all a good safety infrastructure. Lovely personnel, very welcoming attitude! Good breakfast with Cappuccino from a real barrista machine and freshly sliced ham and cheese.

One thing that was a bit annoying was trying to find a restaurant that was not specialised or had mainly only fish. I am highly allergic and wanted to know what my options were (outside of burgers, which I did not come to Italy for). The lady at the reception said she would send me some suggestions. We communicated in English, so I assumed at least some of the message would be in English so I could understand it. The message I got was in Italian with a standard list of their recommended restaurants mostly those serving mainly fish. So, not really the best personalized customer service. So there I really think improvement can be made. If a customer comes with a specific request a standard form-letter answer is not always appropriate.

Literally across the street from the railway station. You really can‘t ask for a more convenient place when travelling by train. The room is a very good size even for 2 people with plenty of room for luggage.
