Host could be hard to communicate with over text

Very dirty. Many technical problems. Every corner needs a renovation. 100 m2, 3 rooms but only one air-conditioning. Very poor wifi!! The owner beleives, the guests are stupid. At least, we had this feeling. Sorry!

The furniture in the apartment was too old. Renting an apartment for six people and 2 chairs that you can sit on the rest of them with broken legs or other issue. It’s not OK. The kitchen was almost empty not even a knife and a fork and a spoon for everyone. WiFi working in the living room… nowhere else. Too much noise from the restaurant located in the building and even from construction work going on. Noise from machines at 7:30 in the morning when you’re in vacation is not what you want.

The location is near Navona.

Door key and lock did not work, were locked in and almost missed a full day tour, son had to jump out of 2nd floor window to street below to open door from outside. Wifi was unreliable and extremely slow, phone signal was spotty, electric light dangling by electric cord into the shower area, the other shower caused water to go into the bedroom, other exposed electric, dresser drawers were literally falling apart, beds not comfortable, no TV, one toilet was located under the sink in a corner and essentially unusable, owner was rude and uncaring, owner suggested we stay and just leave the door unlocked,we left after only one night (were booked for 6 nights). Had to scramble to find another place on short notice. Owner refused refund, said I needed to discuss with booking.com

WIFI was not up to standard for work. The showers were so bad, broken shower head and stand, and the curtain shower was very uncomfortable. the toilet seat moved. no toilet paper holder. in one bathroom the toilet was very uncomfortable to even sit on. The A/cs in bedrooms did not work.

HOWEVER - just a bit dirty. We didn't choose to sit on any of the 3 sofas (except on plastic bags. We fought over the one dining chair that wasn't in danger of breaking. There were also 2 rear doors that were unlockable!. We had to push hard to get cycle locks for these .. (2 ladies in apartment+ valuables there during day !). In summary - just a total lack of thought from the host - apart from getting the money. ...we still had a good time .. we got used to it!

We choose this apartment for the location but also because it had a little kitchen with fridge etc. However the fridge was broken and unusable. Also there was a very strong smell of must which made all our clothes smell too. The building was old and I understand it can cause humidity but even with windows left open all day this didn't get rid of the smell. It was very hard to understand the host as she doesn't speak much English or Spanish (which are our languages) but she did refund me 10% for the faulty fridge.

The location is fantastic and is really central to all the major attractions.

We only noticed one bin in the bathroom that was not big enough for any cooking or eat out waste. We could make do with a plastic bag however

Very comfortable apartment near to Piazza Navona without being right in the middle of tourist footfall. Plenty of room for two, clean and modern with touches of traditional living too.

we had icecold water in the shower for 4 days. Supposedly the owner tried to fix the waterheater, but had no luck. Also the one toilet leaked out on the floor, which we told them. Nothing happened there either; the floor was wet with toiletwater all 4 days.

The noise and the loudness of the neighbors were unbearable. It felt that we were sleeping on the streets, outside of the house. The location is excellent though! Too bad that we were not lucky with a single quite/peaceful night.

Communication with the host was difficult since she spoke very little English and her messages were also unclear. I don't blame anyone for not speaking English, but this is definitely something to keep in mind for visitors who do not speak Italian. The apartment was also not very clean. One of the glasses I grabbed from the pantry had a thick white substance in it. The shower drain was also clogged. On the first day of our stay, someone entered our room to fix a toilet seat. This would not be an issue if we had been warned of this, but the host had not given any warning, and I was not fully dressed when the man walked in, which was highly uncomfortable and disturbing. The room's walls and windows also had very little noise reduction and it was extremely loud even in the middle of night. While there was wifi, it was often spotty and slow.
