Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomUnfortunately we didn't have a particularly good experience checking in .The person who met us seemed in a hurry to go and although he said he'd come back with a parking pass for us, he never did.This was not what we would expect from a host representative.
We liked the balcony because we didn't have any windows in the apartment that we could look out of.Also the room was very clean and presentable.The proximity to Castro was excellent but I I wouldn't come back again as I would prefer more space and an outside area.

AustraliaA few changes could really help this place. The mattress in our bedroom was really uncomfortable/drooped in the middle. The wifi didn't reach the room and it was a data deadzone. There was some mould on the wall of the room with a slight smell to the place.
The location is fantastic and the host was helpful. The communal balcony is a really lovely spot to hang out and eat dinner. Rooms are practical, the kitchenette is very convenient.

Very difficult as we had to keep messaging the agent to meet him to get the keys then he wasn’t then when we arrived we had to wait another 20 minutes.

BelgiumI sent a refund request to the owner because we encountered so many issues during our stay. A lot of information mentioned on Booking concering this property were fake: 1. On the system I've looked for indipendent appartments and the system proposed me 2 apartments to get full independence, thus I've paid for both, but on the second day of our stay, cleaning ladies entered the property (while we were taking breakfast ) to clean a "3rd apartment" that was populated the day after by a couple with a dog! Propery had 3 "rooms", but on Booking it's presented as "entire house". This is misleading info! We had to lock our doors every time we went out of our rooms because property was not independent! It was such a bad experience, taking into account that a person of my family is also allergic to dogs.. 2. Free wifi was granted according to Booking's info, but the reality is that Internet connection was so bad that I could work only on the balcony (shared with the other couple) and still with huge slowdowns.. this made me so upset! 3. TV was granted (based on Booking's info), but the reality is that we could swith on the TV, but signal was always absent.. which means "no TV". 4. Based on Booking's info, we should have "free parking" and also, according to customers reviews, owner could provide a "pass" to allow a free parking, but when we arrived and asked for the pass, owner replied that we could go to the Police station to get one at our expense. In addition to all above-mentioned points, the day before our last day, I've contacted the owner to ask how to proceed with check-out because on Booking it was mentioned that we could stay until 10:30am and in the property it was mentioned "until 11:00am". However, the owner requested us to leave the keys at 9:30am because cleaning ladies should come at that time.
Only positive points that I can mention are: 1. the sea 2. the cleanliness of the property
