Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location was perfect, right at the old town and around the corner from viewing point. We didn't meet host but he was excellent - very helpful and responsive. Quickly sorted any issues or queries we had. Bedroom was lovely and spacious with plenty storage and hangers. Aircon in bedroom and living area.

UkraineA shower cabin seems to be a little bit outdated, it would be nice if the door closes a bit better or to remove something like mould in a few places etc. However, the level of facilities and furniture and so on was higher than what was expected for the price!
Location is amazing, close to the beaches, bus station, shops! Apartment is well-equipped, it was easy to do cooking, everything needed for simple dishes is in the kitchen For 2 people the apartment felt really spacious Host is absolutely amazing, always in touch, eager to help, provides clear instructions for easy check-in, check-out

New ZealandThere is one bedroom, if you are thinking of sharing this with another person or couple the second room is also the living area with table etc. This is not clear from the pictures. Bathroom area is quite small with a bit of mould that could do with being cleaned.
The home location is great and the host is amazing to work with. The entry instructions are very clear and communication was great. The home is kept tidy.

United StatesCasa Sofia is in the perfect location. We had everything we needed...loved that detergent pods were available for our stay as we did laundry while we were there every day. There's a fantastic wine shop right across the street that we visited each day. :) Also, I accidentally left behind a pouch of jewelry. It was found and is currently being mailed back to me!
