Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It’s very close to the city center and does look specific for the point of of view of the architecture and also how the room is being furnished. All the main attractions are about 1 km away from the house. The host is really friendly and is offering during the stay, all day coffee and snacks.

GermanyVery nice and cosy place. The room was very spacious. In the building there was a place where we could make ourselves a tea or coffee and get some snacks. Also if needed the fridge was available for everyone. The personal was very friendly and helpful. Also the location was just amazing. You can park in the fron of the building but sometimes it gets very busy. if I understood it well, during the working days it is not for free. In this situation the owner recommended us another parking not far away from the place.

United StatesWe had trouble getting into the building with the keypad entry (code didn't work). Fortunately, another guest showed up and used their code to help us in.
Location is excellent, we didn't need to drive down any narrow alleys because the hotel is along the river. This also seemed to help with our room being quiet in the evening. Our host was helpful and provided a good map of Verona.

This little guesthouse is in wonderful but quiet location close to central Verona overlooking the River Adige. The room was charming and comfortable. Nice bathroom, lots of towels, etc. Daniele, the owner was friendly and very helpful.
