Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LatviaFor the asking price of the room, I would like a better breakfast, an elevator without strange uneven movement, air conditioner operation without rattling, and of course, an additional 30 EUR for a parasol per day is excessive.
The deciding factors for choosing this hotel for two nights were price and proximity to the beach. Compared according to these criteria, the accommodation is good. Parking in the yard is a big plus.

Lithuania1. PAID BEACH(30 a day), which is absolutely repairable cause just few steps next to the hotels beach there is a free beach with the same guard. Just need to buy umbrella in the nearest Lidl😊 2. Absolutely fail is hotel's BREAKFAST. If you stay here more than 1 day you will die of boredom. Breakfast gives you no option at all. We stayed at the hotel 9 days and believe me: every day was the same- boiled eggs( no mayo), white breat(1 option), salami and ham. No vegetables. Nothing else made from eggs 😔 Yes, that's it for those who for breakfast eat salty food. For sweet teeth you can find pancakes, croissant, some buns and cakes. Some fruit. Good coffee and tea choice. 3. Rooms clean and great beds but if you are staying for longer a big disadvantage is that there is NO FRIDGE. With only breakfast option you surely can't be without one so really inconvenient.
Great location of a cosy and tidy hotel. The beach is great, you can enjoy the lagoon or go futher to the sandy beach. Inside there is a small cafe if you are hungry through the day. Also a small parking space with gates so it is really great. Outstanding staff and great maids who really make the rooms clean and nice. We missed the balcony for drying the clothes but found one at the end of the hall( be careful the doors lock 😅)

GermanyThe location is excellent in the sense that it’s right at the beach (the centre of Marina di Massa is a little further away); friendly and helpful staff, outstanding breakfast buffet and the view from the room is just stunning. You should be ok with the minimalist style of the rooms - I rather liked it because it’s really all about the view

NetherlandsThe rooms have everything you need, but are devoid of any decoration or color. Like a hospital room almost. Not a bad thing if you like that.
Wonderful location, right on the beach. Perfect for watching a sunset. Nice breakfast buffet.

GermanyLift could do with an upgrade. The 'umbrella charge' of Eur 25 per day was a bit steep. In poor weather the location is a bit isolated with no other facilities within walking distance.
Location right by a private beach. Good cuisine, very friendly and helpful staff. No-frills, good service.

GermanyWhen it comes to breakfast, Germans are somewhat spoiled: bread and rolls in all variations. In the hotel, the choice was quite limited: there were only baguette slices. On 21.07.22 the baguette slices were even very dry and crumbled when biting on them - was old bread from the previous day. Otherwise, there is cheese, sausage, Nutella, honey, jam, eggs, yogurt and cereal. There was unfortunately no fruit and the vegetable offer was limited to cherry tomatoes. The coffee was not good. If you like cakes or super sweet crossaints with a sugar coating for breakfast, this is the place for you. The bathroom could use a makeover - cramped, rickety shower, door swollen at the bottom. On the plus side, it was clean and had a bidet.
The location directly on the sea with its own beach was fantastic. The staff was very very very friendly and always had good answers to questions. It was great at breakfast that there was also soy milk for vegans. The rooms were clean and we had a spacious room (220) with sea view. The hotel makes a good and somewhat sophisticated impression from the outside.

United StatesThey could provide a type of guest book or listing of their amenities, and various rules of the Hotel. Such as how to reserve a beach chair, and how parking works...etc...
Everything is provided for you... A clean and modern room, a private beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas, free breakfast and lunch and dinner options on site. The spirituality is sincere there and I understood why I was led to Casa FACI. 🙏🙏

NetherlandsThe wifi was not working during the entirety of our stay. The breakfast was cold and dry. The building is a religious centre that feels more like a hospital than a hotel. Does not look like the pictures. The surroundings and the staff are not welcoming. They charge 30€ pp to use their private beach, which was not advertised in the hotel description and we simply would not have booked if we had known. We left earlier than intended. Not worth the price.
