Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt's slightly out the way and maybe feels slightly more residential but personally I didn't mind that.
We visited Sorrento for a family wedding and chose this apartment so we were travelling with two teenage boys and it was perfect. The apartment was spacious with two bathrooms. The kitchen area was well equipped although we only really made breakfast. The best part of the apartment was the balcony- it's huge and gets the sun in the afternoon, there are apartments around you so there isn't a beautiful view but it's still pleasant and a nice place to relax after a busy day sight seeing. We had lots of Family staying in Sorrento so we spent most of our time out and about but I wouldn't hesitant in returning. In my option it's great value for money.

United StatesWhat is not to like about Casa Enza! First of all Enza was so kind to meet us on the street in front of the building even after our bus was so late in arriving. When I had questions about the heating/cooling system she was able to help me via photos and text. The property itself is top notch in every way. I wish the weather had been more cooperative so I could have lounged in the private garden below the lemon and orange trees. Enza truly tried to meet all our needs. The location of the property is perfect for travelers. 5 minutes to the bus/train station and in another direction 5 minutes to the main piazza and shopping area of town. I look forward to returning to Casa Enza someday.

United KingdomThe second bedroom didn't have any blackout blinds, just flimsy blinds that let the sun in so woke the children up.
We liked the space in each room, the facilities, the location, the outside space, the help and communication from Enza. For us as we have 2 dogs the outsidegarden space in a central location was just perfect. Recommendations - Go to Marina Grande beach, book a Pizza Class or Ice Cream class with Theresa at Bourgainville Gellato.

United KingdomNot really anything to do with the flat as it was was nice and cool but we arrived in a heatwave so stepping outside the flat was like stepping into a furnace. Some folk might like this though. Everything else was fine.
Excellent flat , practically in town centre so really good base. Very clean and quiet. Nice balcony and small garden. Area was good and felt safe. 50 yards from good pub (Piccadilly) with great food and staff. 5 minute walk from main town square. Also 5 mins from train/bus station for trips to Pompei, Naples etc.

United StatesWe loved our stay at Casa Enza! It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms which were spacious and immaculately clean. The living room / kitchen / dining room area was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The outdoor balcony area was absolutely beautiful with colorful pots of red geraniums and other f!owers, along with a table and chairs. Stairs led down from the balcony area to the ground level with a comfortable couch and chairs for outdoor relaxing. The outdoor furniture was shaded by trees, including lemon trees. What a wonderful and relaxing apartment near the center of town! We would definitely stay there again!!

We loved everything. Location is amazing and the property was so clean and tidy. The only thing I’d suggest is for better curtains on all windows - they are really thin and the sun lights woke us up way too early every day. But apart from that, all is fantastic 😊

United KingdomThe apartment is lovely. The only thing that would have improved it would have been for there to be extra blankets or duvets in the winter months - we stayed in April and it was cold at night.
The host met us at the property and was available to contact throughout our stay in case we had any issues. The apartment is located on the edge of Sorrento old town - a perfect location for the town and the train station. The garden to the apartment is private and a lovely place to relax outdoors.
