Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesOur only complaint was there were 2 of us with slightly different schedules and we had asked for a second set of keys but they never came. I recommend insisting on a second set of keys, especially since the door locks automatically behind you.
The location at the Pantheon is the perfect location for walking to all the major sites and museums in Rome. There is a taxi stand just around the corner which is very convenient. It was very quiet and secluded from all the noise in the Pantheon piazzo which was nice. The kitchen was fine for making breakfasts and a pasta lunch. We ate out all the dinners. The WiFi was fast and always on. The shower had really good hot water and the bathroom was clean and very new. Plenty of space for hanging clothes and drawers.

Location is perfect, in front of the Pantheon, with sharming streets around and many stores, supermarkets, restaurants, everything in a 5 minutes walk distance Apartment was perfect too, clean, good shower, comfortable bed, quiet, hair dryer, all kitchen appliances Maria was very supportive for everything we needed I would definitely come back!!

The location, optimal distance related to main objectives. Very close to the location there are a lot of restaurants, gelaterias, supermarkets. Very easy to arrive (left) to airport. We traveled in the very hot period and the air conditional works very, very well. (August).

EstoniaCheap old cutlery takes some positive experience away when it comes to taking a bite or a drink in the apartment. Cheap iron without ironing board can be a challenge if you need to iron clothes for three people. Sofa bed does not have upholstery, making it look and feel very nasty. Duvets without duvet covers, instead, its two sheets used from both sides of a duvet, like it would be in ancient Rome. There is a powerful white noise from some machine working overhead, my guess it was boiler or ventilation. If you like to sleep in silence, like i do, this might be a challenge, and lead to a headache.
Top location in Rome next to Pantheon, with an easy access to any sights by walking or public transport. Great facility to be used as a base for exploring Rome in a several days trip.

Israel1. There is a restaurant storage under the apartment so we had some noisy nights. I asked the house keeper to help with this, they tried to reach to the restaurant team but unfortunately it was not very helpful. It's an old building so you can hear every step and noise. 2. No elevator and it's on the first floor with high stairs, if you have a lot of bags/baby stroller so it would be a bit hard but not a big deal for a short stay:) !
The location couldn't be better ! it's exactly near the pantheon and yet very private ! very close to everything, you can go to the top locations by walking There was a coffee house across the street so once we woke up and came down immediately and grab a tasty coffee ! Apartment was clean, exactly as photos. it has a tv You can take the sofa's mattress in case you want to know. (it's not comfy - but enough for 8KG baby)

CanadaWe ran out of toilet paper and asked if there would be more provided and we didn’t get a response. The floor was very dirty. Walking barefoot made your feet black so we had to mop it.
Location was great. Great space. Kitchen is a little sparse.
