The lounge was at the back - I had hoped for a sea view. The balcony was shared with the owners who had the adjoining flat. There was washing each day hanging from the balcony and noise from their TV next door one evening when I was sitting out.on the balcony, But these were small things. It seemed in the heat, quite a hike up to the town centre but I could have driven instead.

The apartment was very well equipped. There was a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and some chocolates on arrival. It was very clean everywhere. The bedroom was spacious. The shower was very good.

There was no counter in the bathroom to put your stuff. You would take a shower and there was no where to put the clean clothes. In addition, the towels in the bathroom were so thin & worn, you could almost see through them. You pay an additional fee for linens, but he is not spending the money on those things.

Location was very beautiful. The neighbors were very kind.

Comfortable apartment, very well positioned, near the beach and close to the grocery store and places to eat. The host is very kind and available to provide information. Everything was a 10, I would come back anytime.

Gorgeous little apartment right by the water. Comfortable cozy rooms with air conditioning and towels provided. Full kitchen at your disposal too! We had a great stay at Casa Corallo and would definitely come again :)

Kitchen sink little clogged. Towel and cloths price 15/person added after reservation. I recommended host that that price should be visible as extra (as child bed...) already before reservation in the future!

Four adult family members stayed here for vacation. We loved the location on the water overlooking the sea as the fishing boats passed by. Good restaurants and bars an easy walk away.

Some of the cutlery and cups in the kitchen cupboards were a bit dirty. Other than that the apartment was clean.

Amazing view from the front porch, and Luigi greeted us with a bottle of Sicilian wine which was perfect!

The apartment was good only there was no kettle The lady next door was friendly but I think the manage could of offered to pick us up from the bus all every carried our bags up the stairs And gave us a few extra tips of place to go As most of the other places we have stayed did this Otherwise the apartment was very good Thanks Gabrielle and Margaret

Lack of pricing transparency: The original price of €45 for 1 night (that seemed appropriate for a well-located, but very dated accommodation and supposedly included all fees and charges), doubled after we had completed the booking with a msg informing us of a surcharge of €15 per person for linen and cleaning. We were offered a free cancellation when I complained about this, but ended up agreeing as we were already en-route and didn’t want to spend the trip looking for another accommodation. Air-freshener fumigation: It was impossible to actually stay at the accommodation as it was doused in air-freshener to such a level that it was virtually impossible to breathe and caused our eyes and throats to burn the minute we entered the apartment. 45 min of trying to air out the apartment by opening every single window (on a cold February night) only achieved that our clothes had been permeated with the air freshener, which we noticed when we went out for a meal and couldn’t enjoy our food as all we could smell and taste was the air freshener. We decided we couldn’t spend the night and would be better off driving back to our base near Palermo. On informing the host we received a one-word reply: Sorry & no offer of even a partial refund at least. Really can’t recommend.

The location was great as right by the waterfront and close to lots of restaurants.

booking.com description incorrect, shared very small balcony with local family who hang their washing out everyday. Appt not clean, old food in cupboards, settee broken and uncomfortable, mattress lumpy, bottom sheet didn’t fit, mould in the very small shower, kitchen utensils dirty, final clean payment demanded after cancellation date + everything else was in poor or unusable condition. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS LET, Sciacca is not worth a visit anyway!

After booking.com reservation owner wrote a message with extra cost for cleaning of 10€ per person. We paid extra 20€, all by cash. Next visitors, pay attention to this! Never faced with these extra costs before.
