Cleanliness, friendliness, knowledge of the Dolomites, quality of furnishings, excellent breakfast, location, everything was top notch. Alexandra and Manuel clearly put in all their effort into everything they do. Nice and quiet at night as well. Thanks for the hiking route plans and recommendations, and excellent negronis!

There was nothing to dislike. If we are being pedantic, I supposed a fan in the room will be nice as it gets quite stuffy even after you open the windows. But it's not a big issue as it was still quite chilly when we were here.

We love everything about the hotel. It was modern and the room had was well appointed. The toilet and shower area were perfect. The bath gel and handwash were top quality. Manuel and Alexandra were the perfect hosts who gave advice on almost everything. They both ran the hotel and saw to everything including breakfast in the morning. Obviously they took pride in what they do. The location although on a slope was perfect was near enough to everything. We love everything about this place. Manuel is a very witty man and had lots of good advice. They accommodated us when we requested to help us heat up our food brought from home. If we do come back to Ortisei we will stay here again. On a side note there is fantastic restaurant just down the slope a few minutes walk away named Torunda. Food is exceptional and we went twice when in Ortisei.

The hospitality, the cozy rooms, great location to many hikes, and the wonderful breakfast. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Alexandra and Manuel have created a lovely environment for guests. This has been one of our favorite places to stay on our trip.

Everything was excellent; warm and friendly hosts and staff who really try their hardest to accommodate all wishes of the guests. The hotel itself has a rich history, is beautifully decorated and kept extremely clean; the breakfast was amazing and varied every day. We also greatly appreciated the fact that all products in the hotel are natural/organic and sourced locally. Overall an unforgettable experience and we will definitely come back!

We were impressed by the exceptional hospitality of Alexandra and Manuel, who made us feel like guests in their own home. The rooms are cosy and well-equipped, and the property offers the convenience of a spacious ski room, onsite parking, and easy access to ski lifts and public transport. The breakfast was delicious, featuring high-quality, locally-sourced products, and the natural wine bar had an excellent selection. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

1. The renovation is normcore style and the room has a nice mountain view. It was very comfortable to live here. 2. The breakfast was perfect. It contained some delicious desserts like yoga, fruit, pastry and cheese and special dish. 3. The staff was so kind and the chef is also charming XD. 4. The hotel is near the cable.

Casa Al Sole is in a very central location, perfect for a first timer in the Dolomites. Alexandra and Manuel are the best hosts. They provided us with the most amazing stay in Ortisei. The room was clean, comfortable and full of thoughtful touches. The breakfast was so impressive - we looked forward to the delicious meal everyday. We will be thinking about those breakfasts for a while. A&M also gave us great tips and recs for hiking and logistics - we appreciated this very much. We actually were so blown away by Casa Al Sole when we arrived that we decided to extend our stay by one more night and it was the best decision we made. If you’re reading this and you’re wondering if you should book a room, just do it - don’t hesitate.

It Is uphill from the square, so a bit difficult with luggage if walking, but close to 2 lift entrances.

Spotlessly clean quiet modern room with very comfortable bed. Owners gave excellent guidance for hiking and biking. Breakfast was a taste sensation -very delicious, and beautifully presented.

Location was perfect for exploring Seceda and Alpe di Siusi in the Dolomites. The room was comfortable and the daily breakfast was hearty and delicious. There is an outdoor patio for enjoying drinks and snacks at the end of a long day of activity. The hosts were very welcoming and approachable, and provided excellent recommendations for hiking and eating nearby.

Casa al Sole was truly perfect. The attention to detail was flawless, with everything from the logistics and organisation, to the interior design, to the phenomenal breakfast and the hotel bar. The value for money was unbelievable, and I could not recommend this hotel any more to anyone staying in the western Dolomites.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Al Sole! Alexandra and Manuel were such wonderful hosts. They were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. From the balcony of our room, we had great views to the mountains. The room itself was very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts were beautifully presented and were served to you personally. Each day’s menu was different, with a healthy and delicious variety of food presented. Afternoon drinks in the outside area was a very pleasant way to end the day. Try the Casa Al Sole Spritz! We can’t recommend Casa Al Sole enough, should you be looking for somewhere special, yet homely to stay in this amazing area.
