I cannot say enough amazing things about this stay! Imagine your dream villa in Tuscany, overlooking rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of the birds in the Tuscan countryside- if this is what you want from your escape to Tuscany, book your stay here! Carlo and Enrica welcomed us into their home as if we were family, they are the most lovely hosts! Their attention to detail is unmatched. The room is spacious, clean and fits the Tuscan vibe perfectly, and the villa and its surrounds are dreamy, beautiful and the property has many spots you can sit and relax and watch the sun set behind the hills. Breakfast was also lovely, as Enrica explained how the produce all came from local farms, which just added to the entire experience! When you book a stay at Casa al Maestro, you are not just booking a room, you are booking an experience!

We wanted to start our Italy trip immersed in a beautiful peaceful nature in Tuscany. This villa gave us this and more. Pictures don’t do justice to this place. Hosts Enrica and Carlos were so helpful, provided yummy breakfast every morning and gave us invaluable history lessons about the area. First class hospitality, most beautiful landscape, super comfortable beds, luxury showers. If I ever come back to Tuscany, I will choose Casa al Maestro in a heartbeat.

Absolutely amazing! We really wished we had booked more nights here! The room was beautiful - historic, yet fully modern - the breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip to Italy, and the hosts we so nice and accommodating. I would go back in a minute!

The only thing is that it is a bit far from the center. We tried to have dinner in the town next to the property but by 21:00 no one could have us for dinner anymore even though in google maps it’s written that it is open until 23:00. However, it is perfect for someone looking for complete quietness!

100% the hospitality!! And the amazing design of all the interiors. Erica is such an amazing host and makes you feel like home. The installations are perfect and you can grab tea, coffee and snacks whenever from the kitchen.

Absolutely nothing. I only wish our stay was longer, as we were there for 4 nights only.

The location is beautiful and quiet with the nearest neighbor being hundreds of meters away. It is exactly what you expect of Tuscany countryside. Colorful yellow and green hills with lots of flowers, pines and cypress trees. The property is exquisitely renovated. The owners found the perfect mix of antique and modern design; the bedroom with the bathroom is very tidy and spacious. The bed has a very comfortable mattress and the memory foam pillows are excellent. The owners take very good care also of the surroundings, by planting vegetation that is traditional for Tuscany, keep nice flowers and trees, and plan to add olive trees as well. The breakfast is wonderful. It consists of a variety of locally produced salami, excellent sheep cheese from the neighboring farm paired with saffron honey and marmalades, Tuscany crust bread, etc. There are locally produced sweets, from filled biscuits to croissants and more. The best part is Enrica serves you a delicious and fresh crostata each morning (unforgettable the "torta della nonna" - with cream filling and pine nuts). There is also a wide selection of fresh fruits, yogurts, fresh juices, still and sparkling water and a coffee machine. The best part is getting to know the owners Enrica and Carlo. They are very warm, welcoming and extremely caring - they really make you feel like you are at home. Both delight you with interesting stories. They give you great recommendation for daily trips and sight seeing - in the picturesque Val d'Orcia and beyond - in nearby Umbria and Lazio regions. One night we came back from sightseeing very late (after midnight); there was some very heavy rain, and Carlo waited for us to come back, being worried that we got stuck somewhere. With my wife we were there for our marriage anniversary.

Casa al Maestro, is absolutely stunning and Carlo and Erica made me feel so welcome. It's located on the Via Francigena just outside of Radicofani. The house has been beautifully restored and exceptionally decorated finding a great balance between old and new. Carlo and Erica are so passionate about the house and are happy to share it's history and the restoration process. The views from the house are breath-taking and I every morning I enjoyed rising just before the sun to go for a walk to welcome the day. They also operate an e-bike service offering tours and activities for adventuring/fitness seekers. I didn't take advantage of it but will next time. The rooms are spacious, spotless and stocked with a fridge, snacks, large bathroom and separate entrance to easily come and go as desired. Breakfast was fresh plentiful and a great mix of salt and sweet. Erica and Carlo really go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and enjoying your stay. They even invited me for dinner one evening as I was traveling solo for photography. I can't recommend their place enough and can't wait to visit again!

This was an exceptional stay. The house, the environment, and the views are gorgeous! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. There are also books and board games available. And to top it all off, we really loved breakfast which included pastry, fruits, sweets, and local meats and cheeses. I cannot recommend this place enough! We will most likely stay again.

Our stay at this accommodation was an absolute disaster and one of the most disappointing experiences we have ever had. We felt completely deceived and misled. The accommodation is only accessible via a 4 km gravel road through a barren and desolate landscape. There is absolutely nothing in the vicinity – no restaurants, no shops, just bleak landscape. This was nowhere clearly stated in the description on Booking.com. We expected an idyllic location in Tuscany, as portrayed on the website, but instead, we found ourselves in a remote, unattractive place. The reality did not match the expectations set by the description and pictures on the website at all. To make matters worse, we were denied a free cancellation, despite the conditions not being clearly highlighted on the website. We had to pay the full amount of €350.00 for one night, which is completely unreasonable given the circumstances. Despite the poor experience and extreme inconvenience we encountered, the management of the accommodation was inflexible and unaccommodating. Due to the unacceptable conditions, we had to urgently find new accommodation, which resulted in additional costs and forced us to pay double. This significantly impacted our entire vacation and caused a lot of stress. It was extremely disappointing to end up in an area that did not at all resemble what we had envisioned for a Tuscan vacation. The information about seasonal conditions was also completely inadequate. We traveled expecting a green and blooming landscape, but instead, the area was desolate and dry. Such information should have been clearly and prominently communicated on the booking page. Overall, this was a terrible experience that has greatly shaken our trust in Booking.com. We urgently request a review and adjustment of the description of this accommodation on your platform to ensure other travelers do not have the same negative experience. A refund of at least €200 would be appropriate

Only issue is that they don’t serve dinner and you’re about 3 miles outside of Radicofani. But Casa al Maestro provided a shuttle service to go into town and to return which was much appreciated.

The view is amazing. The design and furnishings are modern and very tasteful. Easy to get around the property too.
