It is in close quarters with classic Italians who are late night people. That's just Italy! I also love some airflow via a fan or something, but I slept very comfortably with the window open. Honestly still such an excellent space.

Host Ettore was fabulous. The home was gorgeous, and the bed made me never want to leave it. I adored the clean and modern mixed in with adoration and appreciate of the old. All the plants made me feel right at home, and the clean look was delightful to my eyes. Massive bedroom and lovely. This is a well established property thats accounted for all the details.

Great place to stay! Excelent contact with Ettore (the owner), who gave us a lot of invaluable tips about Bergamo. This man really takes care of his guests. The guesthouse area itself is quiet, pleasant, within walking distance from the center and well connected to the railway station and the airport. PS. Delicious breakfasts served in the garden are definitely worth ordering. :-)

I would appreciate more storage space in the room, like some shelves or small wardrobe. We stayed for 4nights and did not have much space for clothes. But this is just a minor thing.

Accomodation is located in old building with soul and has a nice garden in the backyard where you can have breakfast or stay to relax. Our room was spacious, clean and had private bathroom included. Bed was very comfortable and the whole area is super quiet. I appreciate towels and slippers which were included. Location is close to main station which is convenient when you want to travel around in the region by train or bus. It's a bit more far away from the old town,but still manageable. Our host was very kind to show us places to visit around.

Location was slightly remote and away from the city centre. But it wasn't so much of a problem and the commute to historical centre was nice and easy.

Ettore, proprietor was the most gracious host while we were there. Incredibly helpful, friendly, and supportive in allowing us to find our way around Bergamo. The room itself is personal, not commercial, so we felt we were really a part of the town while there.

The breakfast was very simple, however Ettore did tell us this. This isn't a criticism, just to let you know.

The guesthouse was a 30 minute walk or short tram stop from the train station, ideal for us. We stayed 4 nights and had a fab stay. Ettore was great, so passionate about his property and Bergamo, he gave us invaluable advice and recommendations to make the most of our stay. He even got us some milk for our English Tea when he unexpectedly ran out :-) We visited, Milan, Lake Como and spent a day in Bergamo, this was a fantastic base and have to say great value. The room was spotlessly clean and stylish and the bed very comfortable, our separate bathroom was again, clean and modern, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Ettore :-)

The host was very friendly, ready to answer all questions and give many tips to make your stay in Bergamo perfect. Very comfortable and cozy guest house. We enjoyed our stay here. Close to the train station, supermarket and bus stop. The room is very stylishly decorated, with plants, books. Bed and the rest of the furniture are comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and clean, there is everything you need. The kitchen has a microwave, tea, coffee, sugar, honey and basic utensils. Also we enjoyed access to beautiful garden with apple trees.

- mosquito (but it's not the fault of the place or host) - heat (there is no AC in the rooms, I prefer it like that, but you should consider this especially with little children)

- Great location (not in a touristic area, but only a foot walk away to new town, even to old town if you like to walk) - wonderful garden - cozy rooms - Ettore :)

Ettore is a wonderful host. He gave us many valuable tips on which places to visit. Highly recommended for cat lovers because if you are lucky you will be greeted by the adorable Filomena. I recommend to everyone and if I return to Bergamo, I will definitely choose Buonocore Guesthouse again!

It is an amazing place to stay! I was there with my friend. The owner is a very helpful man. We felt like at home there, quiet and safe neighborhood, calm and very clean place.
