Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe lodge was great and there is nothing in particular that I disliked about it directly, but I did get annoyed by the amount mosquitoes and ants in the camping area. The ants were harmless but very annoying as if you put anything slightly sweet anywhere they would swarm into it being it in or out of the lodge. Example the children ate ice cream in their pram and we left it parked on the porch one hour later it was covered in ants. Just a warn not to leave anything sweet anywhere. About the mosquitoes, I understand it is a camping site in the middle of the woods thus there are some mosquitoes, but the quantity is insane it needs to have a pest control of some sort. unfortunately my mother-in-law, daughter and husband are allergic and they had bad reactions cause even though we had candles, incenses, repelente and all precaution to do not let them in the lodge the quantity of mosquitoes were too great.
The location of the the lodge was excellent. The facilities surrounding it was amazing, the staff in the camping area were mostly very nice. The food options were lovely. The beach was clean and safe. The swimming pool was very nice for all ages. The entertainment offered was more than I had expected. The only thing that was missing was some entertainment for raining days as an indoor playground in the camping site or close to it, it would have been awesome. there was a shopping mall but no entertainment or security for small children like an indoor park would have provided.
