Absolutely amazing. I liked everything: clean and cosy room, high quality of air conditioning (there was no blowing, just soft decreasing the temperature in the room), comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast in the restaurant, the interior and unusual staircase are a special highlight of the hotel

Bathroom was a bit dated.

Great central location, breakfast buffet was excellent (with indoor and outdoor seating options). Traditional style hotel and interior. Strong AC.

Pizza from Bar Menu

Location was excellent for getting around, within 1-2 blocks of old city area and old port. Easy transportation from hotel to everywhere in the city. Staff was excellent: from Bartender, who went out of way to order a salad for me, to front desk and bellman staff. Main concierge staff recommended an few hour visit to Boccadasse which was a charming old fishing village. Randomly we choose a pretty little Restaurant there for lunch which happened to be a Michelin rated one! The hotel was gorgeous, everywhere you looked, the ceilings, walls floors and expecially the staircase... Actually right out of a Hitchcock movie!

Brilliant location - all the main sights are 10/15 minute walk from the hotel. Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great bar.

Nothing to dislike. Everything was great.

Everything went well. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and always treated me pleasantly. I had a health issue and they called me a taxi twice, directed me to the hospital and made me very comfortable and restful throughout the stay. The cocktail bar is also very nice.

My only complaint is that if you've going to have a double/queen bed made up of putting two beds together, it's not sufficient to just put a bottom sheet on to cover the two, you need some sort of mattress topper. As it was there was a clear distinction between the two mattresses in the middle of the bed that wasn't super comfortable to sleep on.

The staff was unfailingly kind and helpful, including the gentleman at the bar who made me a delicious cocktail, and the front desk who helped me find an emergency safety pin. My room was quite large and well appointed, large fluffy towels. the building itself is well restored and feels quite grand. Wifi worked well and the location made it easy to get to everywhere I needed to.

We had a junior suite with a terrace. Spacious with a lovely bathroom ensuite. The bed was comfy. Only down side , we felt the furniture was a little tired and could do with some refurb.

We recently spent 2 nights at the hotel . The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. Beautiful hotel with a stunning staircase. Breakfast was very good as was the evening meal , both in the restaurant and in the bistro. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Very good central location.

Couldn't fault it in any way.

The hotel was beautiful, huge rooms, staff went above and beyond to welcome us, to accommodate us when we arrived early, and gave lots of advice on things to do, bars, restaurants etc. Also, there are lots of nice little touches. The location was perfect. One end of Genoa near the port is a little rough and dodgy at night, but the area around this hotel was brilliant and safe.

The room and the bathroom were very small, no hooks in the bathroom for the towels or bath robe, no shelves inside the shower for shampoo/conditioner. Very small wardrobe and no dresser.

Whilst having breakfast a dog was also in room and according to the hotel guide no dogs should be allowed in dining room
