We enjoyed our stay at Borgo La Casacia very much. All services were provided on a high level. Owners were very kind always at disposal in case of need. I would recommend this accommodation to my friends an for sure we will be back as well.

Borgo La Cassaccia is conveniently located on top of a hill with great views and allows for a breeze to reach the garden on warm days. Montaione town is a 30 to 40 minute walk, a bit on an even gravel road, the rest on paved sidewalks. We made it safely to town for dinner and back even in the dark. By car it is less than 5 mins. Motorways are a bit away, keep that in mind if you plan many trips to further away locations. The upside is that the area is really quiet and calm. We reached everything okay and even some major sights are pretty close. Francesco and Jenny were very accomodating incl. late arrival and early departure, in general very friendly hosts and gave helpful hints around Montaione. The rooms and beds were comfy and equipped with everything we needed. Garden and pool were readily available and kept very well. The advertised anti-mosquito system seems to work, we had no problems.

The location is brilliant, as Monatione is less touristical than e.g., San Gimignano or Volterra, but very conveniently located close to many major sights. The Borgo itself is nicely located on top of a hill with fresh air all around and magnificent views. Pool and garden are brilliant, the rooms and beds were also really nice. Also Francesco and Jenny were so accomodating with e.g. late arrival and early departure and really friendly. Kitchen had all we needed (and more) and they have even a self-service room with ice-cream, wine, etc. where guests can buy some essentials. The grounds are also very nice and were - as promised - free of mosquitos (invaluable!). We were there for the Mille Miglia event which we conveniently reached by nice country-road drives to Lerici and Firenzuola / Passo della Futa. We also followed Jenny's advice to have the breakfast at Filli's bakery in Montaione (excellent!) and we checked out the "Pesce Rosso" seafood ristorante (very good as well). We will definitely come back.

The perfect location and the Tuscan atmosphere reflected in this 19th century building are perfect for relaxation in peace and quiet. Francesco and Jenny were very helpful and nice. Great swimming pools allowed us to relax after a day of exploring Tuscany.

Everything the location how quiet it was. The pools are amazing and the little park is ideal for children. A real Tuscan gem! The most helpful staff who couldn’t do enough to advise, sort problems anything you asked of them.

This property in the Tuscan countryside is gorgeous. Every spot indoors and outdoors is picture perfect! The owner Francesco has thought of everything to make your vacation truly memorable. No detail spared all the way to the olive oil products in the bathroom! We were a family of six and stayed in an apartment with two large bedrooms. Kitchen was fully functional and stocked with essentials. There is a pool, outdoor grill, mini bar near the pool with wine, snacks, ice cream! Even a dedicated laundry area. The staff will respond to your needs to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Amazing value for money. You will keep on coming back to this place!

Washing mashine outside apartment, thin walls, you can hear neighbors going to shower and toilet, kitchen a bit outdated. Our kids during the night got bitten many times by unknown mosqitos or something. Owner promosed to check.

2 pools, area in summertime could be great. stuff was very helpful, close to Volterra and San Gimano
