The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were all incredibly helpful and even went the extra mile in helping us organise last minute transportation (taxi services in the area are difficult!!), and helped us sorting out vineyard tours. The rooms were very spacious, very well equipped and maintained, all in a peaceful and scenic location. Definitely require a car (taxi or rental) to access, as it is a bit of a walk uphill on a rough road from the nearest bus stop. Overall, its definitely worth the stay!

The evening dinner menu could be improved. We wanted to eat on the terrace as it’s such a lovely atmosphere, we ate there two nights in a row but the second night we only ate there because of the view and ease of being at the hotel, we knew the food was only ok. Their local wine on the other hand is delicious and very very reasonable. Only giving that feedback so the hotel can be a 10 on absolutely every level.

It’s absolutely lovely - the view is incredible, the grounds are beautifully maintained, the hotel is very tastefully decorated, the breakfast served on the terrace feels really special and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. The whole experience was really magical.

For price like this, you would expect to have sauna and jacuzzi accessible, not for additional charge of 90 EUR per 2 hours...

The location of this accommodation is in a beautiful, quite, with olive orchard surrounded location. Delicious meals are served on a terrace with great view to surrounding hills.

Although good présentation and the use of premium regional products the restaurant is limited in options but that is a small payoff for the private character and the service offered to only 9 rooms. There is room for improvement in the menu presentation and level of cooking can go up à categorie to be on par with the rest of the place- meatballs in tomato sauce lowballs a bit the level.

The beauty of this place is extraordinary and the service is five star and with a smile. This is beyond an hotel thanks to the small size and the limited number of rooms. Extra points for being a réal dog friendly hotel with a lot of outdoor Fields and gardens.

You need a car to get around. The mattresses on the sun beds were soaked from the rain and there weren’t any spare dry ones. There was a wasps nest by the pool. I was too scared to go in to the water. The shower could have been cleaned a bit more at the bottom or should be updated.

The gardens and there terrace were absolutely stunning. We had a great room. We read that there are rooms where you hear the people next door but we did not have that problem. We loved the breakfast. The service was a bit slow as there was only one person there but with the views it didn’t matter. The service was very friendly.

The rooms have paper thin walls - you can hear the neighbors sneezing, coughing, speaking and other body noises - you don’t want to hear. Plus the pool is very small - it’s a plunge pool. You cannot swim in it.

This is a dog friendly place, meaning that some dogs were running around the gardens and swimming pool area even without a leash.

We had dinner in the restaurant on the first night and it was very bad. The starters had no flavour and the main course was literally inedible. Tough meat served with tiny blobs of cold mashed potato and a cold unidentifiable sauce. I ended up sending it back and they then sent back a different dish, but warmer. Very strange. I genuinely don't think the person who cooked it had any cooking experience. I did not think it was possible to get bad food in Italy! Breakfast was good though.

The evening meals were disappointing, with a fancy sounding menu that didn’t deliver. I simpler menu, as provided at lunchtime, would have been more successful.

Beautiful and sympathetically restored, in a stunning location in the hills above Salo. The grounds and gardens are particularly lovely, with a variety of comfy seating in different spots. A peaceful and relaxing stay.
