The dinner menu wasn’t very large and not too much to our liking. A bit more choice would have been preferable, especially if staying for a longer time. Portions could be bigger too. Some areas, including pool surround could be smartened up. More food options at pool. Nicer glasses or nice reusable plastic glasses at pool rather than disposable cups. A hot option at breakfast would also be nice e.g eggs. Seemed odd that buying a bottle of wine from their vineyard was the same price from the shop as it was served in the restaurant.

Quite a remote location away from everything which was great. Rooms were big and the property as a whole was lovely. Pool was lovely and views from it were idyllic. Quiet atmosphere so very easy to relax.

The room could be improved. The doors were making a lot of noise and there was no separation between the bath/shower and the bedroom.

The location is amazing and peaceful. The landscape is a pleasure for the eyes. The property has all the modern facilities but kept the traditional looks.

Beautiful property on the top of the hill in Gaiole in Chianti. Our room was recently renovated with a great shower. Spa and pool available. Restaurant and winery on site.

we booked a suite based on the photos on booking.com but the room was not really a suite but a room with one double bed and one single bed .. no sofa or other more suite-like

Internally the villa needs some updating All the bedrooms were roomy and had en-suite bathrooms which was good. Furniture needs updating, kitchen needs more equipment, needs washing machine, hoover and other equipment.

Amazing outside area, Great views, lovely pool, lots of areas to sit and relax, nice shaded dining area. Lots of space Access to the main hotel was good, fab meals, great wine tour, helpful staff.

Slightly less comfortable than other we experienced in Toscane and the breakfast needs to be improved (local products and fruits and fresh juices for instance).

Very nice location, beautiful and calm in the middle of the Val of Chianti. This complex Agritourismo/hotel boutique is nice for family trip in the region.

I wish we had known our specific assigned cottages before we arrived. We also had a little mix-up with the hand-off from the winery tour / apertivo to dinner in the main space. But other than that, we had a great time!

We really enjoyed the winery tour and the wine tasting. We loved the different types of cottages and accommodations. Dinner and breakfast were delicious as well.

guest areas were not very well maintained. The gardener should have taken care of the pool area and the garden. everything was very wild and especially the pool area was not welcoming. Prices were too high for what you get. Especially the cooking course was not worth the money.

We had a villa type suite and given it's summer, for that space a single split AC wasn't enough. Maybe an extra portable fan or extra or larger AC unit would have helped. It'd be nice to have a basic coffee machine in the room - considering the price paid for the room, the location is very far from regular cafes/restaurants, and the hotel restaurant could serve only black tea in the afternoon.

The property is beautiful with the vineyards, olive trees, etc. and amidst the scenic hills. There is a large pool and a ping pong table too. Jason who attended to us at the reception was courteous and intro'd us to their wine & also helped arrange a veg menu for us for lunch.

the on-site restaurant and pool and the option of wine tasting. welcoming staff and the waiter and waitresses were very accommodating, including providing cold filtered water in my reusable bottle. we enjoyed the apartment and patio.

The tiniest of details… missing some drinks options from the menu at dinner. Luckily the wine produced at the Casa Al Vento is more than enough to make up for missing out on an aperitif or digestif after dinner.

Friendly helpful staff that went above and beyond with their service and attitude. Food was consistently delicious and fresh. The room was exceptionally comfy and had everything we needed for a couple of nights escape in the countryside.

The room was really nice, with a beautiful view, nice beds and a good sized bathroom. The food at Casa Borgo al Vento was just excellent! The scenery around the hotel is just really gorgeous. The property is also very spacious and has a beautiful pool.

A huge thank you to the staff 👏 they really care to keep you happy at all times and always help to find a solution. Because it was too hot to travel we decided to extend our stay even though the rooms were fully booked they still found us so quickly fitted in the private villa I don't know what happened Probably we got lucky with the gap between the bookings. It was AMAZING!!!!! private pool and Villa Which we will definitely book again with friends as there is 4 rooms Suitable for 10 ppl max But the privacy and the swimming pool is priceless. And you can also feel free to get your own food and drinks which is perfect for a big group You can enjoy the place as you wish.there is a BBQ outside. And trust me you don't want to leave it. There is so much space in the villa 2 big tarrases one along.the swimming pool and one coming out from your room. What was very cute ? There is no numbers of the room in the main hotel and villa each room has its own name like Colorino ♥️ restaurant serves beautiful food in the good price The olive oil is amazing!!! We didn't have anough time to do the wine tasting in here but we will do it next time . Oh we cannot wait to come back here .... Thank you once again!!! For such a great taking care of us 🫶🥂👏 you have no idea how much we needed that reset.

We traveled with family and a couple of friends with two children. In total, we were 10 people. I believe that like us, all the guests were asked about their interest in dining at the hotel and, for our surprise, on the first night there were five tables occupied in the restaurant and just one waiter, who was unable to serve everyone with quality. At breakfast, the same thing happened, the restaurante was full and there were only two professionals working, which led to greater confusion and queues. Additionally, few fruit and bread options, with no replacement.

The bathroom in the room we stayed in is modern, large and comfortable.

The room was absolutely not acceptable. There was no window - only the entrance door where guests walked past and a small window in the bathroom that looked directly onto the patio of the restaurant. Ventilation was impossible, especially at night due to noise from dining on the patio and mosquitoes. We also heard the neighbor snoring etc. The room was not only generally in poor condition (paint chipped everywhere, mold in the joints, sink area rotten) but also really dirty. On arrival we found hair, cobwebs, dead insects and more everywhere. We asked the cleaning lady to remove this - without much success. We should have said something at the beginning, but for this price at least the room should have been clean and there should have been transparency about the missing window when selecting/booking the room. Everything was extremely overpriced. Around 200€ a night for this room is not right. We ate in the restaurant once, the food was good but the portions were tiny and very expensive. A beer at the day bar cost 6€ (?? No wonder no one was ever at this bar), a pool towel 5€, and at checkout there was a nice surprise - we had a small bag washed which cost us 35€ without prior notice. (Yes it is normal that such a service costs but to charge 35€ for a few t-shirts is crazy). In general, we would have liked more peace and relaxation from an agriturismo. Sleepless nights due to restaurant noise and the noise of a party (??we didn't even know about it) made this extremely difficult.

Truly beautiful estate & nice location between vineyards and nature. Friendly staff.
