Wow! It was amazing. We got to Adrea and Marcs place without really knowing anything about it and we feel so lucky we did. From the amazing nature ( they even have a river on their property) to the perfect rooms with an incredible taste and fine tuning in everything, Marc and Adrea are so nice, kind, open and really do everything to make you feel welcomed, and much more. We got energized and inspired. Thanks a lot! AND THE FOOD IS AMAZING. AND THEY GROW IT THEMSELFS..

Bio-agriturismo il Vigno, best holiday ever! Where to start? Our hosts Adria and Mark are the most welcoming, hospitable and friendly people you can ever meet. What they have created at il Vigno is a credit to them. Accomodation: The rooms are spacious, clean and unique. Well equipped and very comfortable. The bedding is clean and fresh, the beds are comfortable and there is ample storage space. The bathrooms are well equipped, fresh towels and a hair dryer is provided, the water pressure is very good, nice and hot water! The kitchenette with a small fridge/freezer, coffee machine is handy and the heating in the room is effective if required. Food: Breakfast is both plentiful and delicious with a good selection of sweet and savoury choices available, accompanied by an endless pot of coffee, a perfect start to your day ! We had one evening meal at the accommodation and it was positively delicious made with locally sourced and home grown ingredients. Gaby really does know how to cook and is a real asset to Adria and Mark. They are very knowledgeable with regards to dietary requirements, as a diabetic I feel they went above and beyond !!!!!! The wi-fi signal is strong in most places, which makes this a good choice for both recreational and business purposes. There are no TV’s in the rooms, but who needs a TV when the views are breathtaking ! Il Vigno is a gem that is hidden away in the Tuscan countryside where peace, quiet and tranquility is in abundance. There are various walks through the forests for those that are adventurous. Hosts Adria and Mark are very helpful with providing the information / suggestions, about places to visit if needed ! This is a Beautiful and amazing place to spend time off and to relax. What else we can say: Enjoy your time, in the peace and tranquility that this little Italian gem has to offer. Fully recommend ! We will be back and we can’t wait already!!!!

Need to improve the signs to the place.

Places are composed of physical conditions and in my opinion even more important human touch. I work in tourism so can identify a normal place or a wonderful one. This is a marvelous place with great positive energies.

It’s a matter of taste, and also might be due to the weather, but the pool could have been warmer.

I think I kept smiling for the first couple of hours after arrival. I love this place, ever since. The owners have a very good sense for handling guests, and speak many languages. Pedro, the dog was also lovely, and in case he’s sitting at the entrance, there is an extra door :)

Giulio and Alice are so nice and friendly, a stay at their beautiful House feels like a visit with a big Family. They have very good recommandations for activities in the sorrounding. Their self-prepaired 4-course menu is very good and so lovely. thanks for the nice time!

Just a little remark for those who might consider to work from this place. The internet connectivity in this far away location is mostly available via WiFi as the mobile phone signal is not very strong - tried switching mobile operators, but no luck with reasonable data connectivity. Local WiFi is mostly suitable for some occasional e-mailing or social media workload. Not sure it can handle all day long conference calls :)

Amazing place run by great hosts - Alice and Giulio. The place is in such a good shape that it looks like it was built just yesterday. It’s really iconic! Both hosts are very friendly and trying to do their best to make you feel like at home. Breakfasts are great and there are dinner evenings twice a week, where you can try a taste of home made Tuscany cuisine - 4 courses menu. We enjoyed our stay and hope we are going to return in the future.

Absolutely nothing - It was perfect!!!

Giulio and Alice made us feel totally welcome and at home. They were the most wonderful hosts and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The agriturismo is absolutely beautiful and lies in the middle of the Tuscan forests. It’s an ideal place to start hikes in the beautiful landscape and to relax at the pool. The hosts offer dinner twice a week which is an absolute highlight. The breakfast is wonderful as well. If you need any advice regarding activities or restaurants Giulio is more than happy to help or make reservations. We stayed for 8 days and really would have loved to stay longer.

Amazing place in the forest with comfortable house and rooms. It was nice to have welcome drinks on arrival. The location of the place is great, as you have options to walk, but also to drive to other nice places around. The hosts are very welcoming and communicative. We definitely will come back one day to that wonderful place :)

I don’t even know where to begin… as a solo female traveler, this bnb was everything I was looking for and more! This stay kicked off my travels through Italy, and it set the bar high. The hosts are attentive, kind, and so personable. And everyone that stays here has the same energy! It feels very home-y and communal. The rooms are spacious, clean, and more on the traditional side style-wise (which I loved). There’s essentially no need to leave the property itself. Breakfast with a view, Aperol spritz by the beautiful pool, and dinner with the other guests and a surprise musical treat from the host himself - just a few highlights. It was so incredibly hard to leave this magical stay, I begged Alice & Giulio to extend my stay but (to no surprise) they were totally booked. Without a doubt, I will be back! Until then, I’ve been using a mug the hosts handmade themselves (!) every morning and dreaming about my return. Much love, Alice & Giulio!

I would give 5 stars. The place was great,spacious and quiet. There was a big pool and a spectacular view of the mountains and forests. Our room was very clean, big and it had all the things we needed. We traveled with a baby and they had prepare us a cot. Alice and Giulio were so nice and polite. The brekfast was rich and yummy. I recommend it a lot and definitely will come back.

Nothing really.

What's not to love about this place: Warming hosts Giulio and his wife, absolutely scenic location, swimming pool, huge rooms, delicious dinner every other day (with local ingredients) and the interaction with other guests. Then there's also the great surroundings to explore by foot, bike or car and nice historic villages or wineries. Had an absolutely great stay here with my girlfriend, I'd suggest staying at least 3 or 4 days.

The wifi might be a bit better, but as we were here to rest and enjoy the quiet outdoor life, this was not a big issue for us.

Amazing hosts who do their best to make it a fantastic and unforgettable stay for the guests. Top notch breakfast to power up your day. We also received a lot of great recommendations for dining in near villages or visiting interesting places to go sightseeing. Dinner is also served in Il Vigno 3 times a week and is highly recommended. And last but nog least: the truffle hunting was great!

As many have written, the road to the site is very bumpy and wifi is only accessible in shared areas.

Beautiful stone house with garden and pool immersed in forest. Room was spacious and with panoramic views. Great to have option of communal kitchen although we just made tea. Hosts couldn’t be more welcoming and willing to give advice. Hearty breakfast. Ideally suited for those who really want to get away from it all. Good for walking St. Francesco trail (nature route).
